Overview and safety
What is ATFX?
ATFX is a multi-regulated forex and CFD broker operating through FCA, CySEC and other regional entities with MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and copy-trading services
ATFX Global Markets (Cy) Ltd holds CySEC licence 285/15 and CySEC lists approved EU domains including atfx.eu and atfxgm.eu. The group also discloses UK FCA firm AT Global Markets (UK) Limited, FRN 760555, plus Mauritius and UAE entities; the UK page currently targets professional clients.
What are the Pros of ATFX?
The main strengths are strong FCA/CySEC group identity, transparent regulated account specifications, mainstream MetaTrader platforms and clearly published funding rules.
For active comparison purposes, the most important concrete advantages are regulated account pages show Standard pricing from about 1.0 pip without commission, Edge from about 0.6 pips, and Premium from 0.0 pips with commission, subject to region and tier and ATFX supports MT4 and MT5 and also markets CopyTrade/Trading Central tools in eligible regions.
What are the Cons of ATFX?
The main drawbacks are account minimums and spreads vary substantially by region and tier, the UK entity is positioned for professional clients on current group material, and global pages can show higher leverage than EU retail rules allow.
A prospective client should also account for jurisdiction differences: CySEC-approved EU domains and EU retail leverage should be used for EU clients. A global ATFX page advertising up to 1:400 does not override the 1:30-class retail cap shown on regulated EU account material.
What are the ATFX Current Promos?
ATFX does not have one universal global promotion that should be treated as part of the core broker offer. The permanent value differences are account-tier conditions, pricing structure and regional eligibility.
| Value area | What it offers | Visitor caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Standard account | Lower entry tier and spread-only style pricing | Starting spreads and minimums vary by local entity |
| Edge/Premium-style tiers | Tighter spreads, with Premium-style tiers potentially using commission | Higher minimums and/or eligibility rules apply |
| CopyTrade / tools | Trading tools and copy-trading style functionality where available | Not available under every entity or country |
| Deposits/withdrawals | ATFX publishes no broker deposit fee on cited pages | Payment provider, bank and conversion costs can still apply |
Before funding for any offer, check the exact ATFX entity, country page, minimum deposit, trading-volume rules and whether the offer is withdrawable cash or only pricing/tool access.
What are the ATFX Highlights?
Key 2026 highlights include CySEC licence 285/15, FCA FRN 760555 at group level, MT4/MT5, published EU account tiers from 1.0/0.6/0.0-pip starting spreads and transparent deposit/withdrawal conditions. These are more useful than marketing slogans because they directly affect pricing, market access, platform capability or client protection.
What is the ATFX Origin Story?
ATFX operates internationally through separately licensed legal entities; current official and regulator pages identify the Cyprus, UK, Mauritius and UAE businesses.
Is ATFX Legit and Trustworthy?
Yes, ATFX is an established legitimate financial-services provider. Direct CySEC register evidence and official FCA-number disclosure provide strong identity confidence. The exact entity remains important because product eligibility and retail protection differ by country.
That does not make every account equally protected; CySEC-approved EU domains and EU retail leverage should be used for EU clients. A global ATFX page advertising up to 1:400 does not override the 1:30-class retail cap shown on regulated EU account material.
Is ATFX Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Yes. ATFX is a multi-entity regulated group, but the legal entity, licence scope and protections differ by jurisdiction. The complete verified/current-or-retained relationship set is:
| Legal entity / relationship | Regulator | Licence / reference | Current status and scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT Global Markets (UK) Ltd | Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), UK | 760555 | Current FCA-authorised investment-firm relationship; the current ATFX UK route is positioned for professional clients. |
| AT Global Markets (Australia) Pty Ltd | Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) | AFSL 418036 | Current Australian financial-services licence. |
| AT Global Markets SA (Pty) Ltd | Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), South Africa | FSP 44816 | Current authorised FSP and licensed OTC Derivatives Provider; this is the South African product-provider relationship. |
| AT Global Capital Markets Africa (PTY) Ltd, trading as ATFX AFRICA | Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), South Africa | FSP 55142; company 2025/091437/07 | Current non-discretionary intermediary. ATFX expressly states that this entity is not the market maker or product issuer and acts between clients and AT Global Markets Intl Ltd. |
| ATFX Global Markets (CY) Ltd | Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) | 285/15 | Current Cyprus Investment Firm / EEA relationship. |
| AT Global Markets Intl Ltd | Financial Services Commission Mauritius | C118023331 | Current Mauritius-regulated international entity. |
| AT Global Markets (SC) Limited | Financial Services Authority Seychelles | SD093 | Current Seychelles securities-dealer relationship. |
| ATFX MENA Financial Services LLC | UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA) | 20200000078 | Current Category 5 relationship. This is not treated as universal evidence of product-issuer or custody permission. |
| AT Global Financial Services (HK) Limited | Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong | BUM667 | Current Type 3 leveraged-foreign-exchange relationship; ATFX materials position this operation toward institutional/professional clients. |
| ATFX (Cambodia) Company Limited | Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) | 040 | Current Cambodian regulated relationship. |
| AT Global Markets Intl Ltd representative office | Financial Superintendence of Colombia | Resolution 2065 of 2025 | Current representative-office authorisation only; not a Colombian brokerage/product-issuer licence. |
| EMERGING MARKETS | Jordan Securities Commission | 643 | Previously verified ATFX introducing-broker relationship. ATFX's current global regulator page no longer lists it, so the relationship is retained with current applicability unconfirmed rather than silently deleted. |
| AT Global Markets LLC | Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company registration context | 333 LLC 2020 | Retained corporate-registration relationship. It is not treated as a retail forex/broker licence, and current applicability was not re-established from ATFX's current regulator page. |
Client protections must be attached to the actual contracting entity. The CySEC retail framework includes the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund for eligible covered clients and retail negative-balance rules. The UK FSCS can apply only to eligible covered claims under the UK entity and applicable scheme rules. ATFX also discloses entity-specific client-money safeguards in several regulated markets; no protection is transferred automatically between group companies simply because they use the ATFX brand.
Belgium remains unavailable for the reviewed retail leveraged forex/CFD proposition. ATFX's current global legal footer excludes Belgian residents, and Belgium's FSMA independently prohibits distribution to consumers via electronic platforms of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex. The new South African FSP 55142 intermediary relationship does not create a Belgian serving route. No Belgian Open Account CTA should be shown.

Did ATFX win any Awards?
ATFX markets itself as an award-winning broker, but the source set used for this review does not yet support a complete dated award table by awarding body and year.
| What can be used now | Why it matters more than generic award claims |
|---|---|
| CySEC licence 285/15 | Independently verifiable EU regulatory identity |
| FCA FRN 760555 at group level | Strong UK regulatory signal, while noting UK client classification limits |
| Published account-tier pricing | More useful to traders than an undated badge |
| Published platform/tool set | Helps visitors compare MT4/MT5/CopyTrade fit |
A future award pass should list only awards where the award name, year, awarding organisation and ATFX entity are verifiable.
What type of Forex Broker is ATFX?
ATFX is a multi-asset online forex and CFD broker. Its current product pages describe market orders being routed to the market and executed at an available tradable price, with execution information returned to the client's MT4/MT5 platform. The broker offers leveraged OTC exposure across forex, indices, commodities, metals and other CFDs rather than operating as a stock exchange.
ATFX also has specialised services including CopyTrade and MAM/PAMM money-manager programmes. The precise execution relationship, counterparty and product set depend on the legal entity and account documentation; marketing terms such as “market execution” do not make every ATFX product exchange-traded.
How do I get in Contact with ATFX?
Contact ATFX through the official contact page or the secure client portal for the entity that holds the account.
| Contact route | Best use |
|---|---|
| Client portal / account area | Funding, withdrawals, verification and account-specific requests |
| Official contact page | Regional telephone/email routes and office/entity details |
| Local entity address | Formal complaints and regulatory notices |
| Funding/withdrawal help | Payment method limits, KYC and withdrawal rules |
Use only the official ATFX domain and entity contact details. Do not send documents or money to contacts received through unsolicited WhatsApp, Telegram or social-media messages.
Where are the Headquarters from ATFX based?
ATFX is a multi-entity broker, so the practical “headquarters” answer depends on the legal entity serving the account.
| Entity / route | What to verify |
|---|---|
| ATFX Global Markets (Cy) Ltd | CySEC licence 285/15 and approved EU domains |
| AT Global Markets (UK) Limited | FCA FRN 760555; current group material positions UK service for professional clients |
| ATFX Mauritius / UAE entities | Separate local regulation and client-protection rules |
| Client agreement | The formal address and complaints route for your account |
For legal notices, use the address and company name in the client agreement, not only the ATFX brand homepage.
What kind of Customer Support is offered by ATFX?
ATFX support is provided through regional contact channels and the client portal.
| Support channel | Visitor use case |
|---|---|
| Client portal | Account verification, deposits, withdrawals and account settings |
| Regional phone/email | General support and local-entity questions |
| Funding/withdrawal help pages | Payment limits, withdrawal minimums and fee checks |
| Formal complaint route | Use the legal entity named in the account agreement |
For a withdrawal issue, provide account number, payment method, currency, amount, request date, proof of payment and screenshots of platform messages.
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by ATFX?
ATFX education and learning value is mainly around platform use, account tiers, trading tools and risk controls.
| Learning area | What visitors should learn |
|---|---|
| MT4 / MT5 setup | Login, server selection, charts, order types and Expert Advisors |
| Account tiers | Standard vs Edge/Premium-style pricing, minimums and commissions |
| CopyTrade / Trading Central tools | Signal/tool use and the risk of following external strategies |
| Funding and withdrawals | Payment method limits, withdrawal minimums and KYC checks |
| Regulation/entity pages | Which legal entity holds the account and what protections apply |
Does ATFX hedge Positions?
ATFX should be treated as an OTC forex/CFD provider: the visitor trades with the relevant ATFX legal entity, and the broker manages pricing and market exposure under its execution/risk framework.
| Question | Practical answer |
|---|---|
| Is every trade externally hedged one-for-one? | Do not assume that; check the entity’s execution policy |
| Does spread tier change execution model? | It changes pricing, but not automatically the legal counterparty relationship |
| Does MT4/MT5 mean exchange execution? | No; MetaTrader is a platform interface, not proof of agency exchange routing |
| What should users compare? | Spread, commission, slippage, stop-out rules, leverage, entity and negative-balance protection |
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join ATFX?
ATFX eligibility is jurisdiction-specific. The current English legal footer says AT Global Markets (UK) Ltd, FCA FRN 760555, serves professional clients only. ATFX Global Markets (CY) Ltd is the CySEC-regulated EU company under licence 285/15, while separate entities operate in Mauritius, the UAE, Jordan, Cambodia, South Africa and other markets under local permissions.
The same current site explicitly says its UK/global information is not directed at residents of Belgium or the United States. It also states that new Brazilian resident accounts are temporarily unavailable while ATFX completes its local integration with Levycam CCTVM. Applicants must therefore pass KYC and be accepted by the specific legal entity available for their country rather than assuming that every ATFX entity serves every resident.
Who should sign up with ATFX?
ATFX is best suited to traders who value strong FCA/CySEC group credentials, MetaTrader and clear tiered account pricing and who verify the correct regional entity before onboarding
Who should NOT sign up with ATFX?
ATFX is a weaker fit for users who want one universal minimum deposit/leverage figure or who assume the UK/CySEC protections automatically cover every ATFX group account
Does ATFX offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
ATFX does not publish one universal retail VIP or high-volume cashback schedule on the global English account pages reviewed on 31 August 2026. Cost differences are primarily built into the account structure: Standard/Classic-style accounts use wider spread-only pricing, while higher account tiers can offer tighter spreads and different commission structures depending on region.
ATFX does publish separate partner and money-manager commercial programmes. Its MAM pages explicitly refer to CPA or rebate earnings for referred accounts, and its MAM/PAMM services are aimed at money managers and partner businesses rather than functioning as a standard retail trading discount. Retail traders should therefore compare the actual spread/commission schedule of their account rather than assume an undisclosed loyalty rebate.
Which Account Types are offered by ATFX?
Current regional pages show Standard, Edge and Premium-style tiers. One regulated page lists Standard with a 500 minimum and spreads from 1.0, Edge with 5,000 and spreads from 0.6, and Premium with 10,000 and spreads from 0.0 plus commission; global Classic specifications can differ.
How to Open a ATFX LIVE Account?
The current ATFX live-account flow has three basic stages: complete the Live Trading Account application, allow ATFX to verify your identity, and then fund the approved account from a supported payment method before trading. ATFX accepts card, e-wallet and bank-transfer funding on supported entities and does not accept third-party payments; the payment account must be in the client's own name.
The exact onboarding form and minimum opening balance depend on the account and region. On the current global funding page, a Standard account requires at least EUR/USD/GBP 500 to open, while the minimum subsequent deposit transaction is EUR/USD/GBP 100. UK, EU and other entities can have different account structures, so the entity selected during onboarding controls the final terms.
How to Open a ATFX DEMO account?
ATFX offers a free demo trading account with USD 50,000 of virtual funds. The current demo page says users can practise forex, indices and commodities in a simulated environment and use the MT4 platform on desktop, mobile or web. The account is intended for learning the platform, testing trading ideas and practising risk-management techniques without risking real money.
ATFX says only basic details are needed to create the demo and login credentials are sent immediately; the fuller verification process is required when moving to a live account. Virtual demo money cannot be withdrawn. ATFX also states that demo execution is designed to resemble live conditions but does not reproduce every live effect, including all slippage and trade-size rejections.
If I violate the Trading Objectives of ATFX do I get a second chance?
ATFX is not a proprietary-trading challenge, so there are no 'trading objectives' whose breach automatically terminates a funded challenge. Normal account restrictions instead come from margin rules, product permissions, suitability checks and the client agreement.
How Are You Protected as a Client at ATFX?
EU clients served by the CySEC entity receive Cyprus/EU conduct protections appropriate to that entity. Clients of Mauritius/UAE or other entities should assess their separate client-money and dispute frameworks.
What are ATFX AML ID requirements?
ATFX requires identity verification before setting up a live trading account. The current live-account instructions say the application is completed first and the account is created after ATFX verifies the applicant's identity. Payment controls are also explicit: third-party deposits are not accepted, so bank, card or e-wallet funding must come from an account held in the client's own name.
ATFX can request additional information when account activity is inconsistent with the information supplied during onboarding, and it may ask for a bank statement when a card refund cannot be processed through the original route. These are practical KYC, AML and payment-ownership controls rather than optional account features.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at ATFX?
Withdrawals are submitted through the client portal and must satisfy KYC/payment-ownership rules. Current global material states withdrawals of at least 100, or a full remaining balance, may be processed without the small-withdrawal fee; smaller partial withdrawals can incur a stated fee.
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at ATFX?
ATFX supports cards, bank transfers and selected e-wallet/payment rails depending on region. Current funding material states no broker deposit fee and publishes transaction minimums that can differ from account-opening minimums.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at ATFX?
The applicable opening minimum is entity and tier specific. Current ATFX material shows examples from 500 for Standard and materially higher thresholds for Edge/Premium, while some global Classic pages publish different figures such as $1,000.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at ATFX?
ATFX currently supports withdrawals through e-wallets, Visa/Mastercard-linked card routes and bank transfer, with the exact methods shown in the Client Portal. Its payment page also names Skrill, Neteller and Trustly among supported funding/payment solutions in relevant regions. Withdrawals are normally returned through an eligible verified payment route connected to the client.
ATFX states that withdrawals of EUR/USD/GBP 100 or more are free, as is a withdrawal of the full remaining balance. A smaller partial withdrawal incurs a EUR/USD/GBP 5 fee. There is no published maximum daily withdrawal for cards, bank transfer or e-wallets, although large requests can trigger confirmation checks.
How can I Withdraw Money from ATFX Step by Step?
To withdraw from ATFX, log in to the Client Portal, choose the withdrawal option and select an available verified method. ATFX processes business-day withdrawal requests received before 4 p.m. Cyprus time on the same day; requests after that cut-off move to the next available working day. The broker can ask for identity or bank evidence if a card refund cannot be completed normally.
ATFX says e-wallet funds are typically returned within two working days after processing, while card refunds can take around two to five working days. Bank settlement depends on the receiving bank. Third-party payment accounts are not accepted, so the withdrawal route must be consistent with the client's verified account ownership.
Does ATFX Payout?
ATFX is a leveraged forex/CFD broker rather than a fixed-return payout service. Client withdrawals are made from available trading-account funds through the Client Portal. The current payment page says withdrawal requests received before 4 p.m. Cyprus time on a business day are processed that day; later requests are processed on the next available working day.
After ATFX processes the request, settlement depends on the payment rail. The broker states that e-wallet withdrawals can return within about two working days and card refunds generally take around two to five working days. Free withdrawals require at least EUR/USD/GBP 100 or the full remaining account balance; smaller partial withdrawals carry a EUR/USD/GBP 5 fee.
Which Fees are charged by ATFX?
Trading costs vary by tier: Standard is spread-only, Edge narrows the spread, and Premium can use near-zero starting spreads plus commission. Overnight financing and product-specific costs remain separate.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with ATFX?
ATFX offers forex and CFDs across several asset classes; the exact catalogue depends on the legal entity, client category and platform.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by ATFX?
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are core ATFX platforms, supplemented by CopyTrade and research/trading-tool integrations in eligible regions.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by ATFX?
ATFX offers leveraged CFDs across multiple markets. Its current forex page lists 44 currency pairs, including major pairs such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, NZD/USD and USD/CAD plus a broad list of crosses. The wider product specifications also cover indices, commodities, precious metals and other CFDs offered by the relevant entity.
Instrument availability varies by country and account. For example, the current South African bonus terms apply to forex, precious metals, commodities, indices and futures but explicitly exclude cryptocurrency CFDs and share CFDs from that promotion. The client's trading platform is the definitive catalogue for the legal entity serving the account.
Which Trading Servers are offered by ATFX?
ATFX does not publish one MT4 or MT5 server name that applies to every client. Its product-specification page explains that orders are linked to the company's MT4 server and that execution information is returned to the investor's platform, while demo users receive account login details after creating the simulated account.
The correct server therefore comes with the individual live or demo credentials and can differ by entity, platform and account environment. A trader should use the server entry supplied by ATFX in the Client Portal or account email rather than copying a server name from an old forum post or an unrelated ATFX region.
Which are the Base Currencies supported by ATFX?
ATFX's current global payment table is denominated in EUR, GBP and USD: deposits, minimum transaction amounts and withdrawal thresholds are shown in those three currencies. This confirms those currencies are supported across the current funding workflow on that service.
The page does not separately publish a universal list labelled “all available trading-account base currencies” for every ATFX entity. Because ATFX operates multiple legal companies and regional account structures, ForexBrokersInfo records EUR, GBP and USD as the verified current payment/account currencies on the global flow and does not invent additional ledger currencies that are not stated on the reviewed account pages.
Can I trade Crypto with ATFX? Which crypto currencies are supported by ATFX?
Crypto availability is jurisdiction-specific and, where offered by a CFD broker, normally represents derivative price exposure rather than transferable ownership of coins.
What is the Leverage on my ATFX Trading Account?
EU retail material shows leverage up to around 1:30 on major FX, while global account pages can publish higher ratios such as 1:400. The legal entity and classification determine the actual cap.
How can I change the Leverage on my ATFX Trading Account?
Leverage selection cannot exceed regulatory and entity limits and can also depend on product, account equity and professional/retail classification.
What kind of Spreads are offered by ATFX?
Current regulated account examples show starting spreads around 1.0 pip on Standard, 0.6 on Edge and 0.0 on Premium. Actual spreads are variable and account/entity specific.
Does ATFX offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
ATFX currently offers both MAM and PAMM money-manager structures. Its MAM programme lets a professional manager place trades in a master account and distribute them across linked client sub-accounts, with reporting and configurable allocation features. The separate PAMM programme pools percentage-based allocations so profits and losses are distributed according to each participant's share of the managed capital.
ATFX markets these services to money managers and investors who specifically enrol in the programme; they are not activated automatically on a normal self-directed Standard account. Regional material also describes a Money Manager programme combining MAM and PAMM allocations under client authorisation, so legal availability and manager permissions must be verified for the client's jurisdiction.
Does ATFX allow Expert Advisors?
ATFX supports Expert Advisors and automated trading on MetaTrader. The current MT4 demo page specifically encourages users to test Expert Advisors with virtual funds, and the UK spread-betting specification explicitly marks EAs as allowed. ATFX also offers MT5, which supports MetaQuotes' MQL5 automation and strategy-testing environment.
Automated trading remains subject to the account and promotion rules. For example, the South African deposit-bonus terms prohibit abusive EAs or bots used to exploit the bonus structure. An EA that is technically supported by MT4/MT5 therefore still has to comply with ATFX's execution, market-abuse and promotion conditions.
Does ATFX offer Copytrading?
Yes. ATFX currently operates ATFX CopyTrade, a dedicated social/copy-trading platform. Followers can select strategy providers and automatically replicate their trades, while retaining controls to pause or stop copying, change allocations and add or remove funds. ATFX says one master account can copy up to 30 traders simultaneously.
The current CopyTrade page states that the platform charges zero platform fees to followers and providers, while strategy providers can use performance, registration and management-fee models. A user must first be an ATFX client before joining CopyTrade, and the service is jurisdiction-dependent rather than guaranteed for every ATFX legal entity.
