Broker availability in Nigeria
Best brokers available in Nigeria
Nigeria is in a regulatory transition for online retail forex and CFD trading. SEC Nigeria's 2018 notice states that online retail forex trading is unregulated; in 2026 the Commission has repeatedly warned investors about unregistered online investment services and, on 1 September 2026, published proposed rules that would expressly cover online forex/CFD brokers and offshore firms targeting Nigerian residents. Because those forex/CFD rules are still an exposure draft, this guide separates technical broker access from Nigerian regulatory authorisation and withholds Open Account CTAs unless the exact serving entity and current Nigerian regulatory basis are verified.
