How to Compare Low-Spread Forex Brokers

The lowest displayed spread is not necessarily the lowest total trading cost.

Risk first. Forex, CFDs, copy trading, signals and automated strategies can all lose money. Performance claims and backtests do not guarantee future results. Verify the legal entity, product availability and rules that apply in your country before funding an account.

Use all-in cost

Combine average spread, per-side or round-turn commission, financing and any execution cost relevant to the strategy.

Match the time of day

A broker can look cheap during the most liquid session and become much more expensive around rollover or illiquid hours.

Strategy sensitivity

Scalping and high-frequency approaches are much more sensitive to small differences in spread and slippage than multi-day swing trading.

Use the guide in context

Compare the strategy or tool with broker costs, platform support, regulation and country availability before acting.
