Overview and safety
What is Blackwell Global?
Blackwell Global is a UK FCA-regulated execution-only forex and CFD broker operated by Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited. The current website is explicitly restricted to professional, institutional and eligible-counterparty clients and focuses on high-touch trading services rather than mass-market retail onboarding
Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 09241171 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 687576. The current site lists a registered office at 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN and a trading/contact office at Token House, 11-12 Token House Yard, London EC2R 7AS. The separate Cyprus company previously held CySEC licence 159/11, which CySEC now lists as voluntarily renounced.
What are the Pros of Blackwell Global?
The main strengths are clear FCA-regulated identity, a service model aimed at professional and institutional traders, segregated client-money disclosures, MetaTrader 4, Expert Advisor support, MAM technology for money managers, spreads advertised from 0.1 pips in the MAM programme and direct access to dedicated relationship support.
For active comparison purposes, the most important concrete advantages are Blackwell Global’s current Money Manager page advertises spreads from 0.1 pips, deep liquidity and customisable commission/performance-fee arrangements for approved money managers. The current professional-client pages do not publish one universal retail-style commission table, so professional pricing is arrangement-specific rather than a single headline tariff. and MetaTrader 4 is the core published platform, including desktop and mobile access, more than 30 built-in technical indicators, custom indicators, Expert Advisors and the optional MT4 Accelerator toolkit. Blackwell’s MAM software lets approved money managers allocate trades across multiple client accounts from one MT4 terminal..
What are the Cons of Blackwell Global?
The main drawbacks are the current UK service is not open to ordinary retail clients, the website expressly excludes residents of Belgium as well as the United States and New Zealand, professional clients give up important FCA retail protections such as negative-balance protection, and pricing/minimum-deposit information is less standardised than at large self-service retail brokers.
A prospective client should also account for jurisdiction differences: The live UK site states that services are only available to professional, institutional and/or eligible-counterparty clients and are not directed at residents of the United States, Belgium or New Zealand. A qualifying UK professional client must meet at least two of three FCA-style criteria: a financial-instrument portfolio above EUR500,000, at least 10 significantly sized trades per quarter in each of the previous four quarters, or at least one year of relevant professional financial-sector experience.
What are the Blackwell Global Current Promos?
No dated 2026 retail deposit bonus or coupon campaign was published on the current professional-client pages checked on 31 August 2026. Blackwell’s published Active Trader material refers to VIP promotions such as software trials, MT4 indicators and expert education, but it does not provide current campaign dates or a universal cash-bonus percentage, so this review does not invent one.
What are the Blackwell Global Highlights?
Key 2026 highlights include FCA FRN 687576, professional-client eligibility requiring two of three quantitative/experience tests, segregated client funds, MT4 and mobile MT4, Expert Advisors, a MAM programme managing from one client to as many as 1,000 accounts, more than 60 FX pairs in the money-manager offering, and MAM spreads advertised from 0.1 pips. These are more useful than marketing slogans because they directly affect pricing, market access, platform capability or client protection.
What is the Blackwell Global Origin Story?
Blackwell Global says it was founded in 2010, initially operating from New Zealand as an online trading specialist. It expanded into Cyprus in 2011, launched institutional Blackwell Prime Solutions and Blackwell Trader Pro in 2015, and acquired the UK FCA licence for Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited in 2016, when Patrick Latchford was appointed CEO of the UK brokerage.
Is Blackwell Global Legit and Trustworthy?
Yes, Blackwell Global is an established legitimate financial-services provider. The current legal entity is easy to verify because the official site consistently identifies Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited, company 09241171 and FCA FRN 687576. Client-money disclosures say company and client funds are fully segregated and client money is held with recognised banks such as Barclays. The former Cyprus licence must not be presented as active because CySEC records licence 159/11 as voluntarily renounced.
That does not make every account equally protected; The live UK site states that services are only available to professional, institutional and/or eligible-counterparty clients and are not directed at residents of the United States, Belgium or New Zealand. A qualifying UK professional client must meet at least two of three FCA-style criteria: a financial-instrument portfolio above EUR500,000, at least 10 significantly sized trades per quarter in each of the previous four quarters, or at least one year of relevant professional financial-sector experience.
Is Blackwell Global Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Yes, Blackwell Global has several separately regulated or registered legal entities, and the exact entity matters. The complete verified set retained in this audit is:
| Legal entity | Regulator | Licence / reference | Current status and scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited | Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), United Kingdom | FRN 687576 | Authorised. The current UK service is execution-only CFD brokerage for professional, institutional and/or eligible-counterparty clients rather than ordinary retail onboarding. |
| Blackwell Global Investments Limited | Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB) | SIA-F215 | Current Bahamian investment-business relationship. The SCB's register dated 30 April 2026 lists the entity for dealing/arranging/managing capital-market instruments and trading CFDs. |
| Blackwell Global Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd | Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) | Derivative Broker Licence 005 | Current Cambodia derivatives broker. The official Cambodia risk notice expressly covers CFDs and FX. |
| Blackwell Global Securities Limited | Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong | CE BGX296 | SFC licensed corporation. An official April 2024 SFC condition variation confirms this relationship and imposes professional-investor conditions on virtual-asset dealing services. |
| Blackwell Global Futures Limited | Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong | CE BGX460 | Official SFC licensing records identify it as a licensed corporation for Type 2 futures dealing. The underlying relationship is preserved, but a fresh 2026 status page was not independently located in this audit. |
| Blackwell Global Asset Management Limited | Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong | CE BJU094 | Official SFC licensing records identify it as a licensed corporation for regulated activities 4, 5 and 9. The relationship is preserved, but a fresh 2026 status page was not independently located in this audit. |
| Blackwell Global Investments (Cyprus) Ltd | Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) | 159/11 | **Former licence.** CySEC lists it as voluntarily renounced/withdrawn. It must not be presented as an active EU licence. |
Protections are entity- and product-specific. The UK broker states that client money is segregated, but its professional-client page also states that professional clients lose retail negative-balance protection and can lose more than they invested. Hong Kong's Investor Compensation Fund can protect eligible losses caused by intermediary default for qualifying exchange-traded securities or futures, generally up to HK$500,000 per claimant for each category; it does not make every Blackwell product or OTC leveraged trade covered. No comparable statutory compensation entitlement was verified for the Bahamian or Cambodian relationships in this audit.
Blackwell's current global contact page also labels a Mauritius office as “Regulated by FSC”. We have **not** promoted that statement into a verified regulator relationship because the exact Mauritius legal entity and licence number could not be independently matched to an official register in this audit. No licence number is guessed or borrowed from another firm.
For Belgium, Blackwell's current UK/global legal disclosures explicitly say the service is not directed to Belgian residents. The FSMA separately prohibits distribution to consumers via electronic platforms of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex. Blackwell is therefore marked unavailable for the reviewed Belgian retail use case and no Belgian Open Account CTA should be shown.

Did Blackwell Global win any Awards?
Blackwell Global’s current professional page names four historical awards with issuers and years: Best ECN Forex Broker UK — World Business Outlook Awards 2021; Best Online Forex Broker UK — Acquisition International 2019; Most Trusted Financial Service Provider UK — Wealth & Finance International 2019; and Best Cryptocurrency Trading Provider UK — International Business Magazine 2019. I did not find a newer named 2025 or 2026 award on the current official pages reviewed.
What type of Forex Broker is Blackwell Global?
Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited describes itself as an FCA-regulated execution-only financial-services broker offering Contracts for Difference with a core focus on FX, commodity and index CFDs. Its current marketing stresses deep liquidity, low-latency execution and bespoke service for HNW/professional and institutional clients rather than an exchange-membership or direct-ownership model.
How do I get in Contact with Blackwell Global?
Blackwell Global publishes live chat, a free callback facility and telephone support. Its current English contact page lists +44 20 3769 9881 and a London contact office at Token House, 11-12 Token House Yard, London EC2R 7AS; the registered office remains 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN. The About page publishes cs@blackwellglobal.com for client enquiries, while regional pages list additional language-specific support addresses.
Where are the Headquarters from Blackwell Global based?
Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited’s registered office is 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN, United Kingdom. The current contact and About pages also identify Token House, 11-12 Token House Yard, London EC2R 7AS as its operating/contact location. The company number is 09241171 and FCA FRN is 687576.
What kind of Customer Support is offered by Blackwell Global?
The current site offers live chat, callback requests, telephone support and email. It markets 24-hour support on its account pages and provides multilingual service; the FAQ lists Arabic, simplified/traditional Chinese, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish. Current UK telephone contact is +44 20 3769 9881.
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by Blackwell Global?
Blackwell’s published educational tools include MT4 training, regular market updates, in-house analyst material, Trading Central research, more than 30 MT4 indicators and the MT4 Accelerator toolkit created with FXBlue Labs. Some account pages also reference the Trading Diary, SMS market alerts and dedicated account-manager guidance. These are broker-produced trading resources rather than independent investment advice.
Does Blackwell Global hedge Positions?
Blackwell’s published Standard/Active Trader account tables explicitly list hedging as allowed. The same pages describe Forex and CFD trading on MT4 and set margin-call/stop-out levels for those account structures. Because the live homepage now restricts new service to professional/institutional clients, the exact hedging and margin configuration for a new professional account should be confirmed in that client’s agreement.
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join Blackwell Global?
A new Blackwell Global UK applicant must qualify as a professional, institutional or eligible-counterparty client. For elective professional status the site says the applicant must meet two of three tests: more than EUR500,000 in financial instruments/cash, an average of at least 10 significantly sized transactions per quarter over the previous four quarters, or at least one year in a professional financial-sector role requiring derivatives knowledge. Belgium is explicitly excluded.
Who should sign up with Blackwell Global?
Blackwell Global is best suited to qualifying professional, high-net-worth, institutional or money-manager clients who specifically want an FCA-regulated UK CFD counterparty, MT4/EA capability, relationship-led execution support and MAM technology rather than a fully self-service mass-retail broker
Who should NOT sign up with Blackwell Global?
Blackwell Global is a weaker fit for ordinary retail traders, Belgian residents, users who need guaranteed retail negative-balance protection, or clients wanting a simple published all-in commission/minimum-deposit schedule before speaking with the broker
Does Blackwell Global offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
No current public retail coupon code or fixed cash-rebate schedule was verified on the professional pages. Blackwell’s Money Manager programme instead lets approved managers configure commissions, performance fees and management fees, while Active Trader material references VIP promotions and software/education benefits. These are negotiated or programme-specific benefits rather than a universal retail discount code.
Which Account Types are offered by Blackwell Global?
The live 2026 website is centred on professional, institutional and eligible-counterparty relationships. It also keeps published Standard/ECN account pages online: the older Standard schedule shows balance bands of EUR500-EUR10,000, EUR10,001-EUR100,000 and above EUR100,001, while another current marketing page names Standard, ECN and Professional accounts. Because new service is now explicitly professional-only, those retail-style tables should be treated as published legacy/product information rather than automatic new-client eligibility.
How to Open a Blackwell Global LIVE Account?
To open a live account, start on blackwellglobal.co.uk and use the Professional Trader application. The broker’s current process is three steps: complete the application form, upload supporting documents and submit. The applicant must also satisfy professional/institutional classification requirements before a live account can be approved; Belgian residents are excluded by the current website. The broker must complete identity, residency and suitability/appropriateness checks before regulated products are enabled.
How to Open a Blackwell Global DEMO account?
Blackwell’s FAQ still recommends a demo account for applicants who need more experience with leveraged products, and its MT4/mobile materials refer to both demo and live accounts. A demo can be used to practise MT4, but the current live-account eligibility rule remains professional/institutional only and a demo does not create eligibility for an FCA professional account.
If I violate the Trading Objectives of Blackwell Global do I get a second chance?
Blackwell Global does not operate a proprietary-trading challenge with profit targets, daily-loss limits or funded-account evaluation stages. Its current UK service is an FCA-regulated professional/institutional CFD brokerage. The binding trading constraints are therefore the professional client agreement, margin requirements, stop-out rules, product limits and any bespoke professional account conditions rather than a prop-firm challenge objective.
How Are You Protected as a Client at Blackwell Global?
Blackwell states that company funds and client funds are fully segregated into separate bank accounts and that client money is held with recognised banks such as Barclays. However, its professional-client page explicitly warns that professional traders lose retail negative-balance protection and can lose more than the amount invested. Professional status therefore changes the protection profile materially even though the firm remains FCA regulated.
What are Blackwell Global AML ID requirements?
The professional application requires documents to be uploaded and the broker states that it assesses client knowledge/experience before approving leveraged products. Current public pages do not publish a detailed standalone 2026 AML checklist with every accepted document type, so the factual position is that identity/classification documents are required during application and additional compliance evidence can be requested before trading or payments are enabled.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at Blackwell Global?
Blackwell’s published funding table lists e-wallets, debit/credit cards and bank transfer. E-wallet/card rows show USD, EUR and GBP with instant processing, while bank transfer accepts USD, EUR, GBP and CHF. Domestic bank transfers are stated as up to three days and international telegraphic transfers up to five days. The same page covers deposits and withdrawals and directs clients to support for exact fees and processing conditions.
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at Blackwell Global?
Published deposit rails include e-wallet, debit/credit card and bank transfer. E-wallet and card funding accepts USD, EUR and GBP and is shown as instant; bank transfer accepts USD, EUR, GBP and CHF. The funding table shows a USD0.01 minimum on e-wallet/card rows and USD100 on bank transfer, but these are payment-rail minimums and should not be confused with a universal current professional-account opening deposit.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at Blackwell Global?
The current professional-client application page does not state one universal minimum opening deposit. Blackwell still publishes older Standard account balance bands beginning at EUR500-EUR10,000 and a funding table with payment-rail minimums of USD0.01 for e-wallet/card and USD100 for bank transfer. Those figures are useful published references, but they are not presented as a single mandatory 2026 minimum for every professional account.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at Blackwell Global?
Blackwell’s current published deposit/withdrawal table covers e-wallets, debit/credit cards and bank transfer. Accepted currencies shown are USD/EUR/GBP for e-wallet/card and USD/EUR/GBP/CHF for bank transfers. Exact withdrawal fees and limits are shown as dependent on the account/payment method, so the client should use the authenticated account and current support confirmation for the final available rail.
How can I Withdraw Money from Blackwell Global Step by Step?
Blackwell does not publish a detailed numbered public withdrawal workflow on the pages checked. The verified facts are that withdrawals use the listed e-wallet/card/bank-transfer rails, processing and fees depend on the method, and bank transfers can take up to three days domestically or five days internationally. A client should submit the request through the authenticated account environment and complete any compliance verification requested by the FCA-regulated entity.
Does Blackwell Global Payout?
Blackwell Global is a CFD broker, not a fixed-return payout programme. Withdrawable money is the client’s available account equity after open-position margin and any applicable trading/payment charges. The published funding page gives payment-processing windows rather than a guaranteed profit payout: bank transfers can take up to three days domestically and five days internationally.
Which Fees are charged by Blackwell Global?
The current professional service does not publish one universal all-in commission tariff. The MAM programme advertises spreads from 0.1 pips and lets approved money managers configure commissions, performance fees and management fees. Older Standard/Active Trader tables describe ECN-only commission on some account bands but do not state a single current numeric commission. Funding fees also depend on the payment method.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with Blackwell Global?
Blackwell’s current FCA FAQ describes CFDs with a core focus on FX, commodities and indices. Its Money Manager page is more specific: 60+ major, minor and exotic currency pairs, precious metals, index CFDs and commodities such as gold and oil. A separate currently published marketing page also advertises 20+ cryptocurrency pairs and 85+ CFDs, although exact availability should be confirmed for the professional arrangement.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by Blackwell Global?
MetaTrader 4 is the principal platform shown on the current site, available on desktop and mobile. Blackwell also offers an MT4 Accelerator package developed with FXBlue Labs and MAM software that operates from a single MT4 terminal for approved money managers. The public pages reviewed do not advertise MT5 or cTrader as current Blackwell Global UK platforms.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by Blackwell Global?
The current published instrument set includes 60+ major/minor/exotic FX pairs through the money-manager programme, precious metals such as gold and silver, index CFDs, commodities including oil, and a separate marketing page that advertises 20+ crypto CFD pairs. Because the live UK service is professional/institutional only, the final symbol list is account-arrangement specific.
Which Trading Servers are offered by Blackwell Global?
Blackwell uses branded MetaTrader 4 infrastructure. The public MT4 installation guide says clients log in with credentials sent to their registered email address, while the MAM programme manages multiple client accounts from one MT4 terminal. The current public pages do not publish a definitive list of live/demo server names, so no server label is invented in this review.
Which are the Base Currencies supported by Blackwell Global?
The Money Manager programme says account currencies can be customised but does not publish one definitive list of every supported account base currency. Blackwell’s current funding table does provide concrete payment currencies: USD, EUR and GBP for e-wallet/card funding, with CHF additionally supported for bank transfer. Those payment currencies should not automatically be treated as the complete account-base-currency list.
Can I trade Crypto with Blackwell Global? Which crypto currencies are supported by Blackwell Global?
A currently published Blackwell Global account-marketing page advertises more than 20 cryptocurrency CFD pairs. The main FCA FAQ, however, describes the core current service as FX, commodity and index CFDs. Crypto availability should therefore be confirmed for the specific professional arrangement; where offered, these are leveraged crypto CFDs rather than transferable ownership of coins.
What is the Leverage on my Blackwell Global Trading Account?
For the current professional proposition, leverage is arrangement- and instrument-specific and can be higher than retail limits; the Professional Trader page warns that higher leverage is one of the retail protections surrendered by professional clients. Blackwell’s older Standard page still publishes historical balance-tier settings of 400:1, 200:1 and 100:1, while a separate Standard retail page shows 30:1. Those older numbers should not be assumed to be the leverage automatically granted to a new 2026 professional account.
How can I change the Leverage on my Blackwell Global Trading Account?
A client cannot simply choose any leverage independently of Blackwell’s approval and classification. The published account pages explicitly say leverage is subject to approval and that account balance does not guarantee the leverage level. Professional classification permits higher leverage than retail but also removes negative-balance protection, so any requested leverage remains constrained by client category, instrument and broker approval.
What kind of Spreads are offered by Blackwell Global?
Blackwell’s current Money Manager page advertises spreads from 0.1 pips and describes low-latency execution, deep liquidity and superior pricing. Standard/ECN pages refer to ECN or spread-based pricing, but the current professional site does not publish a universal live spread table across every instrument. The 0.1-pip figure is therefore a published starting point, not a guaranteed spread on every professional account.
Does Blackwell Global offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
Yes for MAM. Blackwell Global operates a dedicated Money Manager programme with Multi-Account Manager software that lets an approved manager allocate trades across multiple client accounts from one MT4 terminal. The page states that managers can run one client or up to 1,000 client accounts and configure allocation methods, commissions, performance fees, management fees and account currencies. I did not find a separate retail PAMM marketplace on the current UK site.
Does Blackwell Global allow Expert Advisors?
Yes. Blackwell’s MT4 page explicitly supports creating and deploying Expert Advisors, and the Money Manager page says its MAM software is suitable for both manual traders and users running EAs. The MT4 Accelerator package also adds advanced execution, alarms, sentiment and trade-management tools for eligible clients.
Does Blackwell Global offer Copytrading?
I did not find a current native retail copy-trading marketplace, strategy leaderboard or one-click social-copy product on Blackwell Global UK’s official platform pages. The broker does offer MAM for authorised/approved money managers, which is a different managed-account structure. Therefore MAM should not be described as a consumer copy-trading service unless a specific managed arrangement and permissions are in place.
