Overview and safety

What is iFOREX?

iFOREX is a long-running online forex and CFD broker brand whose global website is operated by Formula Investment House Ltd and whose EU trading name iFOREX Europe is used by CySEC-regulated ICFD Ltd.

Formula Investment House Ltd is licensed by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission under SIBA/L/13/1060. CySEC lists ICFD Ltd, company 254495, under CIF licence 143/11 and records iFOREX Europe as an approved trade name with iforex.eu and country-specific EU domains.

What are the Pros of iFOREX?

The main strengths are two clearly identified regulated legal routes, a proprietary browser/mobile platform, broad CFD coverage, published human support contacts, segregated-client-fund disclosures and negative-balance protection on the global trading-conditions page.

For active comparison purposes, the most important concrete advantages are the current global offer is principally spread-based and says trading commission is generally not charged separately; overnight financing and instrument-specific spreads remain part of total cost and iFOREX uses its own web and mobile trading platform with integrated charts, position management, funding functions and market access rather than relying on MetaTrader.

What are the Cons of iFOREX?

The main drawbacks are the BVI and Cyprus entities are not interchangeable, Belgium restricts retail distribution of leveraged OTC CFDs/rolling-spot forex, and traders who require MT4/MT5, public raw-spread commission accounts or broker-run MAM/PAMM will not find those features verified in the current official material.

A prospective client should also account for jurisdiction differences: a Cyprus iFOREX Europe account falls under CySEC rules, while the global Formula Investment House Ltd route falls under BVI FSC supervision. Belgian consumers should not infer CFD/rolling-spot eligibility from the CySEC licence because the FSMA product-distribution ban still applies

What are the iFOREX Current Promos?

The global site currently advertises a first-deposit welcome trading bonus capped at USD 500: 50% up to USD 250 plus another 50% up to USD 250 after documents are approved and the first mobile-app trade is made. The credit is margin-only and is not withdrawable.

What are the iFOREX Highlights?

Key 2026 highlights include CySEC licence 143/11 for ICFD Ltd, BVI FSC licence SIBA/L/13/1060 for Formula Investment House Ltd, the proprietary iFOREX web/mobile platform, 900+ advertised market opportunities on current registration material, 24/5-style weekday support and a current welcome-bonus structure. These are more useful than marketing slogans because they directly affect pricing, market access, platform capability or client protection.

What is the iFOREX Origin Story?

iFOREX says it has operated since 1996. The modern group now separates its global BVI-regulated operation from its EU CySEC-regulated ICFD Ltd operation.

Is iFOREX Legit and Trustworthy?

Yes, iFOREX is an established legitimate financial-services provider. Both the BVI legal footer and CySEC register identify named legal entities and licences. Client safety still depends on which company signs the agreement, and Belgium-specific product restrictions remain decisive for Belgian retail visitors.

That does not make every account equally protected; a Cyprus iFOREX Europe account falls under CySEC rules, while the global Formula Investment House Ltd route falls under BVI FSC supervision. Belgian consumers should not infer CFD/rolling-spot eligibility from the CySEC licence because the FSMA product-distribution ban still applies

Is iFOREX Regulated and who are the Regulators?

Yes. iFOREX currently identifies two regulated investment-firm subsidiaries, and the current regulatory evidence supports that as the complete regulated group set for this review.

Legal entityRegulatorLicence / referenceCurrent role
Formula Investment House LtdBritish Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC)SIBA/L/13/1060Current regulated iFOREX subsidiary serving clients outside the EEA, subject to country restrictions.
iCFD LtdCyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC)143/11Current Cyprus Investment Firm trading as iFOREX Europe for accepted EEA residents.

The BVI FSC relationship is current. No statutory investor-compensation scheme comparable with the UK FSCS or Cyprus ICF was verified for that BVI route; client-money segregation is disclosed, while universal negative-balance protection is not inferred without entity-specific evidence. For iCFD Ltd, eligible covered clients can fall under the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund subject to scheme rules, and the regulated European CFD framework includes segregated client funds and retail negative-balance protection.

The former Hungarian group relationship is retained as historical rather than silently deleted. iFOREX Brokerage Limited was sold to local management in 2013, later became eBrokerhouse Investment Services Ltd, and the remaining iFOREX business relationship ended in 2020. It is not a current iFOREX regulator relationship.

Country fit is more specific than a generic CySEC passport. iFOREX's current registration document says iCFD currently markets in a small group of EEA jurisdictions including Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece and Hungary and accepts new EEA clients except residents of Belgium and Cyprus. ForexBrokersInfo therefore records those explicitly named markets as available through iCFD, while keeping the actual product form clear: iFOREX Europe offers CFDs on currencies, commodities, indices, shares, ETFs and crypto rather than implying direct ownership of those underlying assets.

Belgium is explicitly unavailable. iCFD says it does not accept Belgian customers, and the non-EEA Formula Investment House route also does not provide a verified Belgian alternative. Belgium's FSMA leveraged-OTC restrictions independently reinforce that fit decision, so no Belgian Open Account CTA is allowed.

Did iFOREX win any Awards?

The official iFOREX About and legal pages checked on 1 September 2026 did not expose a current award table where each badge was tied to a named award, year and issuer. No award is therefore invented in this review.

What type of Forex Broker is iFOREX?

iFOREX provides leveraged OTC forex/CFD trading through its proprietary platform. The global legal section publishes an Order Execution Policy, and the service should not be described as an exchange or as a MetaTrader ECN venue without entity-specific execution evidence.

How do I get in Contact with iFOREX?

Global customer service is published at +30-210-374-2599, technical support at +30-210-374-2504, with info@iforex.com, cs@iforex.com, support@iforex.com and monitorteam@iforex.com. The support page states Monday-Friday 04:00–20:00 GMT.

Where are the Headquarters from iFOREX based?

The current global trading service is operated by Formula Investment House Ltd under BVI FSC supervision, while ICFD Ltd’s CySEC record gives Corner of Agiou Andreou and Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, Vashiotis Agiou Andreou Building, Office 202, Limassol, Cyprus for the EU entity.

What kind of Customer Support is offered by iFOREX?

The global site publishes human phone, email, live-chat and callback channels, including separate customer-service and technical-support routes, with weekday coverage from 04:00 to 20:00 GMT.

Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by iFOREX?

iFOREX publishes education pages, trading guides, tutorials and market-learning material plus a help center. No paid course is required to use the account.

Does iFOREX hedge Positions?

The current global legal section provides the Order Execution Policy and product documents, but the public pages checked did not provide one universal statement that every client order is externally hedged one-for-one. Execution and conflict management must be read in the agreement for the serving entity.

Accounts and eligibility

79/100

Can anyone join iFOREX?

Country and legal-entity eligibility varies. The global bonus excludes restricted jurisdictions including the USA, and Belgium is not treated as an available retail leveraged-CFD/rolling-spot route because the FSMA prohibits electronic distribution of those OTC products to consumers.

Who should sign up with iFOREX?

iFOREX is best suited to eligible international traders who prefer a proprietary all-in-one web/mobile platform and spread-based CFD pricing, and EU clients in jurisdictions where ICFD Ltd can lawfully onboard them under CySEC rules

Who should NOT sign up with iFOREX?

iFOREX is a weaker fit for Belgian consumers seeking leveraged OTC forex/CFDs, traders who require MetaTrader, public raw-spread commission pricing, or a broker with the same statutory protection in every jurisdiction

Does iFOREX offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?

Besides the current welcome bonus, iFOREX publishes a Refer and Earn programme that can pay a trading bonus of up to USD 300 per funded referral where the promotion is available. Eligibility is region-specific and the referral page can explicitly say it is unavailable in the visitor’s region.

Which Account Types are offered by iFOREX?

iFOREX does not currently market a large MT4-style tier matrix on the global site. The service is a proprietary-platform margin account whose applicable minimum, leverage and product permissions are set by region and legal entity; iFOREX Europe says minimum deposit requirements can vary by region/account.

How to Open a iFOREX LIVE Account?

To open a live account, register on the correct regional iFOREX site, submit the requested identity/residency information, complete regulatory checks, select the available funding method and meet the deposit requirement shown for that region before leveraged products are enabled. The broker must complete identity, residency and suitability/appropriateness checks before regulated products are enabled.

How to Open a iFOREX DEMO account?

iFOREX offers practice/demo-style access through its proprietary ecosystem, but the official pages checked did not publish one universal demo balance or expiry that applies in every region.

If I violate the Trading Objectives of iFOREX do I get a second chance?

iFOREX is not a proprietary-trading challenge, so there are no 'trading objectives' whose breach automatically terminates a funded challenge. Normal account restrictions instead come from margin rules, product permissions, suitability checks and the client agreement.

How Are You Protected as a Client at iFOREX?

The global iFOREX security page says client funds are segregated and held with leading banks, and its trading conditions publish negative-balance protection limiting trading losses to account funds. EU clients of ICFD Ltd additionally fall under the protections applicable to a CySEC investment firm; these should not be attributed automatically to the BVI entity.

What are iFOREX AML ID requirements?

Funding and withdrawals are subject to identity verification, same-name/source-of-funds controls and anti-money-laundering rules. The iFOREX Europe client agreement says deposits must come from a client-owned bank account or linked payment means and cash deposits are not accepted.

Deposits, withdrawals and fees

80/100

Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at iFOREX?

iFOREX Europe supports cards, bank transfers and region-dependent electronic methods; card/electronic deposits are typically prompt while bank transfers can take several business days. Withdrawal requests are submitted from the trading account and may be returned through the original payment route.

Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at iFOREX?

Multiple deposit options are available, including cards, bank transfer and regional electronic methods. The exact list is country-specific and displayed after registration; iFOREX Europe says it generally does not charge internal deposit fees, while banks/payment providers can.

What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at iFOREX?

No single universal current minimum deposit could be verified for every iFOREX entity. iFOREX Europe explicitly says the required minimum varies by region/account and is shown after registration; the current welcome-bonus cap should not be mistaken for the account minimum.

Which Withdrawal methods are available at iFOREX?

Withdrawals are requested through the trading account and use the supported bank/card/electronic rails available to that client. Method availability depends on region and compliance with return-to-source rules.

How can I Withdraw Money from iFOREX Step by Step?

submit the withdrawal inside the authenticated account, complete any outstanding verification, choose the permitted payment route and wait for broker processing plus external bank/provider settlement. External fees can still apply even when iFOREX does not charge an internal withdrawal fee.

Does iFOREX Payout?

The official payment material does not promise one universal payout time for every rail. Electronic/card processing can be faster, while bank settlement may require several business days; verification or intermediary banks can extend the timeline.

Which Fees are charged by iFOREX?

Trading is primarily priced through variable spreads plus overnight financing where positions remain open. The official global conditions do not publish one universal commission per lot because most displayed trading is spread-based; external payment-provider charges can apply.

Trading conditions and platforms

79/100

What can I trade with iFOREX?

iFOREX offers leveraged CFDs on forex, commodities, indices, shares, ETFs and cryptocurrencies, with hundreds of instruments and 900+ opportunities advertised on current registration material.

Which Trading Platforms are offered by iFOREX?

The main platform is iFOREX’s proprietary web/mobile trading system. Current official pages do not advertise MT4, MT5 or cTrader as client platforms.

Which Trading Instruments are offered by iFOREX?

Available instruments include currency pairs, stock CFDs, index CFDs, commodity/metal/energy CFDs, ETF CFDs and cryptocurrency CFDs; the exact symbol list is entity and country dependent.

Which Trading Servers are offered by iFOREX?

Because iFOREX uses a proprietary platform, the official pages checked do not publish MetaTrader server names. Clients sign in through the iFOREX web/mobile environment rather than selecting an MT4/MT5 server.

Which are the Base Currencies supported by iFOREX?

Base/account currency availability depends on the regional entity and registration flow. The public global pages checked did not publish one universal base-currency list, so this review does not invent one.

Can I trade Crypto with iFOREX? Which crypto currencies are supported by iFOREX?

Yes, iFOREX lists cryptocurrency CFDs among current products. These are leveraged derivative positions where offered, not evidence that the broker provides self-custodied spot-coin wallets.

What is the Leverage on my iFOREX Trading Account?

Leverage is jurisdiction-specific. EU retail accounts under iFOREX Europe are subject to applicable European retail leverage limits (for example up to 30:1 on major FX), while global BVI conditions can differ materially.

How can I change the Leverage on my iFOREX Trading Account?

Any leverage change is constrained by the serving entity, product and client classification. A retail EU client cannot simply override regulatory caps through the platform.

What kind of Spreads are offered by iFOREX?

iFOREX uses variable spread-based pricing. The exact bid/ask spread varies by instrument and market conditions; no single fixed EUR/USD spread applicable to all entities is published as a universal promise.

Does iFOREX offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?

No current official iFOREX platform/legal page checked for this audit advertised a broker-run MAM or PAMM managed-account programme for ordinary retail clients.

Does iFOREX allow Expert Advisors?

No current iFOREX official platform page advertised MetaTrader Expert Advisors; the proprietary platform does not provide MT4/MT5 EA compatibility as a standard client feature.

Does iFOREX offer Copytrading?

No current official iFOREX platform page checked on 1 September 2026 advertised a built-in social/copy-trading network. The service is presented as self-directed proprietary-platform trading.
