Overview and safety
What is TopFX?
TopFX is a forex and CFD brokerage brand operating through a CySEC-authorised Cyprus investment firm and a separately regulated British Virgin Islands company that currently operates the global topfx.com service
CySEC lists Topfx Ltd, company registration 274180, under CIF licence 138/11 and currently lists topfx.com and topfx.eu as approved domains. The current global topfx.com footer separately identifies TopFX Markets Limited, BVI registration 2116078, as licensed by the BVI Financial Services Commission under SIBA/L/23/1161. The BVI FSC currently classifies TopFX Markets Ltd as a regulated entity with the entity type Dealing as Principal. The legal entity on the client agreement therefore determines the actual protection and product rules.
What are the Pros of TopFX?
The main strengths are independently verifiable Cyprus and BVI regulatory relationships, clear current BVI Growth/Zero/Pro account specifications, MT4/MT5/cTrader choice, cTrader Copy, MT4 PAMM, Expert Advisors/cBots and FIX API support, plus current KYC and same-name funding controls.
For active comparison purposes, the most important concrete advantages are the current BVI account table publishes Growth spreads from 1.2 pips, Zero from 0.0 on forex and Pro from 0.5 pips. The BVI page does not expose one universal commission schedule across all three tiers in the retrieved account table, so no commission amount is invented; Cyprus fee documents apply only to the Cyprus entity and should not be projected onto BVI accounts and TopFX currently supports cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5; cTrader includes Copy and cBots/FIX API, MT4 supports EAs and PAMM-based copy functionality, and MT5 supports algorithmic multi-asset trading.
What are the Cons of TopFX?
The main drawbacks are the shared topfx.com domain can create entity ambiguity because CySEC approves the domain while the current global footer identifies the separate BVI company as operator; leverage, compensation and fees differ by entity, and current BVI maximum leverage is far higher than EU retail limits.
A prospective client should also account for jurisdiction differences: CySEC licence 138/11 belongs to Topfx Ltd in Cyprus, while BVI FSC SIBA/L/23/1161 belongs to TopFX Markets Limited. Topfx.com being an approved CySEC domain does not prove that every visitor contracts with the Cyprus firm. Belgium is not treated as a verified positive retail leveraged-forex/CFD market because Belgium’s FSMA distribution restriction remains controlling and no Belgium-specific serving/onboarding path was verified.
What are the TopFX Current Promos?
No current universal customer deposit bonus was verified for TopFX in this pass. The site has partner/IB economics, but affiliate or introducing-broker remuneration is not a customer promotion and must not be presented as one.
What are the TopFX Highlights?
Key 2026 highlights include CySEC licence 138/11 since 2011; BVI FSC SIBA/L/23/1161 currently listed as Dealing as Principal; BVI Growth spreads from 1.2, Zero from 0.0 on forex and Pro from 0.5; maximum BVI account leverage up to 1:2000; MT4/MT5/cTrader; cTrader Copy, MT4 PAMM, EAs/cBots and FIX API. These are more useful than marketing slogans because they directly affect pricing, market access, platform capability or client protection.
What is the TopFX Origin Story?
Topfx Ltd has held CySEC licence 138/11 since 19 April 2011. The brand now also operates internationally through separately incorporated TopFX Markets Limited in the British Virgin Islands, registration 2116078, under BVI FSC licence SIBA/L/23/1161.
Is TopFX Legit and Trustworthy?
Yes, TopFX is an established legitimate financial-services provider. CySEC independently confirms Topfx Ltd, licence 138/11, company registration 274180 and the approved topfx.com/topfx.eu domains. The BVI FSC independently confirms TopFX Markets Ltd as currently regulated and Dealing as Principal. Trust must still be evaluated at entity level because Cyprus and BVI protections are not interchangeable.
That does not make every account equally protected; CySEC licence 138/11 belongs to Topfx Ltd in Cyprus, while BVI FSC SIBA/L/23/1161 belongs to TopFX Markets Limited.
Is TopFX Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Yes, but TopFX now needs to be treated as a three-entity regulated brand rather than as one CySEC broker. The complete current regulated brokerage set we could verify is:
- Topfx Ltd — Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), CIF licence 138/11, Cyprus. CySEC still lists the firm as authorised. The current topfx.eu site is now focused on institutional/corporate clients and explicitly says it does not offer services to retail clients or individual investors. The company's Terms of Business also state that it does not accept clients residing in Belgium.
- TopFX Markets Limited — British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC), investment-business licence SIBA/L/23/1161, British Virgin Islands. The BVI FSC currently lists TopFX Markets Ltd as a currently regulated entity, while topfx.com identifies TopFX Markets Limited, company 2116078, as the current global operator. The broker states that client funds for this entity are held in segregated accounts. No statutory investor-compensation scheme comparable with the Cyprus ICF was verified for the BVI entity.
- TopFX Global Ltd — Financial Services Authority Seychelles (FSA Seychelles), Securities Dealer licence SD037, Seychelles, company 8424819-1. The separate topfx.com.sc site remains active and its current legal pages identify TopFX Global Ltd as the licensed operator. Its Terms of Business provide negative-balance protection. We did not verify an investor-compensation scheme equivalent to the Cyprus ICF for this Seychelles entity.
A separate Cyprus company, Fondex Services Ltd (HE 406965), is disclosed as a payment agent for TopFX Global Ltd; it is not treated as the brokerage licence holder. The Seychelles website also contains some inconsistent legacy wording referring to Fondex Limited, so the current TopFX Global Ltd Terms of Business and licence disclosure are used for the client relationship.
The protections are not interchangeable. CySEC 138/11 belongs to Topfx Ltd; BVI SIBA/L/23/1161 belongs to TopFX Markets Limited; and Seychelles SD037 belongs to TopFX Global Ltd. A shared brand or domain reference does not transfer one entity's protections to another. For Belgium, retail fit is unavailable: the Cyprus terms explicitly exclude Belgian residents, the current Cyprus proposition is institutional-only, and Belgium's FSMA prohibits distribution to consumers of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex. No Belgian Open Account CTA should be displayed.

Did TopFX win any Awards?
No current dated 2026 award set was independently verified in the official TopFX source set used here. The review therefore keeps awards Partial and prioritizes the live CySEC/BVI entity split, platform breadth and trading costs.
What type of Forex Broker is TopFX?
TopFX markets itself as a liquidity-provider/broker and offers OTC CFDs via MT4, MT5 and cTrader. Account/platform execution can include raw-spread and commission structures, and institutional materials describe liquidity connectivity. Client hedging and PAMM/copy functions do not prove that the Seychelles company hedges every retail trade externally; the execution policy controls that question.
How do I get in Contact with TopFX?
TopFX publishes cs@topfx.com and a BVI registered address at Trident Chambers, P.O. Box 146, Road Town, Tortola VG1110. For an EU/CySEC account, users should rely on the contact/legal details attached to Topfx Ltd rather than the BVI footer alone.
Where are the Headquarters from TopFX based?
TopFX has entity-specific addresses rather than one meaningful headquarters for due diligence. TopFX Markets Limited is registered at Trident Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, BVI; CySEC lists Topfx Ltd at Xsenos Building, Office 502, Troodous 2, Agios Athanasios 4105, Limassol, Cyprus.
What kind of Customer Support is offered by TopFX?
The current Seychelles contact details are +248 4374705 and cs@topfx.com. Because older TopFX pages/domains can show different legal footers, users should confirm that support/payment instructions correspond to TopFX Global Ltd SD037 or the separate CySEC entity before sending funds.
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by TopFX?
TopFX provides platform/trading education and market content, but its main visitor advantage is platform breadth. New users should first learn how account type, commission, leverage and legal entity interact before choosing between MT4, MT5 and cTrader.
Does TopFX hedge Positions?
TopFX should not be described as universally agency-only or universally market-making from marketing copy. The current global BVI company and CySEC company have entity-specific execution policies; users should verify principal/agent and conflict-of-interest treatment in the agreement for the account they actually open.
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join TopFX?
TopFX has an active CySEC company and a separate BVI global operator, but no compliant Belgium-specific retail CFD/rolling-spot route was verified. Belgian product restrictions take precedence over generic EEA or offshore availability, so no Belgian Open Account CTA should be shown.
Who should sign up with TopFX?
TopFX is best suited to eligible traders who value MT4, MT5 and cTrader, want a choice among spread tiers and copy/automation tools, and are prepared to verify whether their account is with the Cyprus or BVI legal entity before funding
Who should NOT sign up with TopFX?
TopFX is a weaker fit for Belgian retail users seeking leveraged OTC forex/CFDs, clients who assume CySEC protection automatically applies to the global BVI account, or traders uncomfortable with the very high leverage available on the BVI account set
Does TopFX offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
TopFX has affiliate and Introducing Broker programs, including partner rebates, but those are partner economics rather than a universal retail-client discount and do not influence the broker rating. No current universal retail rebate/coupon was verified for every account on 2026-09-06.
Which Account Types are offered by TopFX?
| Account | Spread from | Platform | Max leverage on cited BVI terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1.2 pips | MT4/MT5/cTrader | 1:2000 |
| Zero | 0.0 pips | MT4/MT5/cTrader | 1:2000 |
| Pro | 0.5 pips | MT4/MT5/cTrader | 1:2000 |
Minimum trade size starts at 0.01 lot. Commission varies by account/instrument and should be taken from the live schedule rather than inferred from the spread alone.
How to Open a TopFX LIVE Account?
To open a live account, TopFX’s current onboarding flow starts by creating a live account on topfx.com, completing the residency and financial/suitability questionnaire, uploading identity and address documents, confirming the serving legal entity and country eligibility presented during onboarding, and then funding from a supported payment source in the client’s own name after approval. The broker must complete identity, residency and suitability/appropriateness checks before regulated products are enabled.
How to Open a TopFX DEMO account?
TopFX offers demo access and currently advertises cTrader and MT4 demo accounts with full platform functionality for practising forex, share and crypto CFD trading without risking capital. Demo fills and spreads do not guarantee live execution.
If I violate the Trading Objectives of TopFX do I get a second chance?
TopFX is not a proprietary-trading challenge, so there are no 'trading objectives' whose breach automatically terminates a funded challenge. Normal account restrictions instead come from margin rules, product permissions, suitability checks and the client agreement.
How Are You Protected as a Client at TopFX?
For Topfx Ltd in Cyprus, the current Investor Compensation Fund policy confirms membership of the Cypriot ICF; eligible retail claims are compensated at 90% of cumulative covered claims or EUR 20,000, whichever is lower, subject to the Fund rules. Cyprus retail accounts also operate under MiFID/CySEC client-protection rules including segregation and retail negative-balance protection. BVI accounts rely on the separate BVI legal/regulatory and client-money framework and do not inherit the Cyprus ICF.
What are TopFX AML ID requirements?
The current BVI Terms of Business require identity/economic-profile/suitability information and restrict deposits to accounts or payment means linked to a bank account in the client’s own name. Third-party funding can be rejected/returned, and withdrawals may require further documentation if money-laundering or ownership checks are not satisfied.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at TopFX?
Funding is completed after KYC through payment methods made available for the client/entity. TopFX’s global site requires identity verification before funding; bank/provider/FX fees and withdrawal routing vary by method.
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at TopFX?
The BVI terms require deposits from a bank account or qualifying linked payment method in the client’s name and prohibit reliance on unverified third-party funding. A universal current public list of every deposit rail and fee across both entities was not verified in this pass.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at TopFX?
No universal current minimum deposit applying to both the BVI Growth/Zero/Pro account set and the Cyprus entity was verified from the primary pages checked on 2026-09-06. A number is therefore not invented; payment-channel operational minimums can also differ.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at TopFX?
The BVI Terms of Business state that withdrawals should normally use the same method and remitter used to fund the account. The company may require another method or additional documentation, and where applicable may return funds in the deposit currency. Exact available withdrawal rails and fees depend on entity and funding route.
How can I Withdraw Money from TopFX Step by Step?
Submit the withdrawal through the official client/account interface, keep sufficient free margin, select the permitted same-name/original funding destination and provide any requested ownership/AML documentation. The company may reject or reverse a withdrawal if the destination or documentation does not satisfy its controls.
Does TopFX Payout?
No guaranteed withdrawal time is claimed. Processing can depend on payment method, entity, free margin, KYC/AML checks and bank/provider settlement. Users should rely on the current authenticated portal estimate for their specific route rather than a historical blanket payout promise.
Which Fees are charged by TopFX?
TopFX uses account-specific spread/commission pricing: Zero offers the rawest headline spread, Standard a wider spread and Pro an intermediate profile. Swaps/overnight financing and exact commission remain instrument- and entity-specific; users should compare all-in cost rather than only the 0.0-pip headline.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with TopFX?
The current BVI/global site offers CFDs across forex, shares, indices, metals, energies, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, commodities and synthetic/turbo indices. Exact products, leverage and contract specifications are legal-entity and platform dependent.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by TopFX?
TopFX supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. That gives access to EAs/cBots and, where enabled, cTrader Copy, MT4 PAMM and professional/FIX-style connectivity. Platform features do not resolve the CySEC-versus-BVI counterparty question.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by TopFX?
Current BVI trading-condition pages list forex, indices, turbo indices, cryptocurrencies, metals, energies, commodities and synthetics, while the broader site also markets shares and ETFs. These are leveraged CFD exposures where the contract specification says so; a product label should not be read as direct cash ownership.
Which Trading Servers are offered by TopFX?
No static authoritative list of current TopFX MT4/MT5 server names was published in the primary pages checked. Clients should use the server/account credentials issued through the official onboarding/client portal rather than third-party connection lists.
Which are the Base Currencies supported by TopFX?
The current BVI Growth, Zero and Pro accounts list USD and EUR as account currencies. Cyprus or future entity-specific accounts may differ.
Can I trade Crypto with TopFX? Which crypto currencies are supported by TopFX?
TopFX currently offers cryptocurrency CFDs on the BVI/global product set. These are derivative exposures rather than direct ownership of the underlying cryptoasset, and availability is jurisdiction/entity dependent.
What is the Leverage on my TopFX Trading Account?
Current BVI account material can advertise leverage up to 1:2000 on Standard/Zero/Pro configurations. CySEC retail clients are subject to EU retail leverage caps instead. The BVI maximum should never be copied into the EU review context.
How can I change the Leverage on my TopFX Trading Account?
No universal public self-service leverage-change procedure was verified across TopFX entities. Any leverage change remains subject to the serving entity, client classification, equity, instrument rules and current risk settings and should be requested through the official account/support flow.
What kind of Spreads are offered by TopFX?
Current BVI headline starting spreads are Growth from 1.2 pips, Zero from 0.0 on forex and Pro from 0.5 pips. Live spreads are variable and instrument/account dependent; starting values are not guaranteed execution costs.
Does TopFX offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
Yes. TopFX offers MT4 PAMM infrastructure for eligible managers/followers. PAMM allocation is an operational trading arrangement, not a guarantee of manager quality, and the manager's authority/performance risk is separate from TopFX's broker/counterparty risk.
Does TopFX allow Expert Advisors?
Yes. MT4/MT5 Expert Advisors and cTrader cBots/automation are supported on compatible TopFX configurations. Automated execution remains subject to account, instrument, latency and margin rules.
Does TopFX offer Copytrading?
Yes. TopFX supports copy trading, including cTrader Copy and strategy-provider/follower workflows. It advertises a broad strategy pool, but follower results can differ from provider results because of timing, allocation, fees and slippage.
