Overview and safety
What is AMP Global?
AMP Global now needs to be understood as two different legal histories. AMP Global Ltd was the Cyprus forex/CFD entity that held CySEC licence 360/18 and is now listed by CySEC as a former investment firm after voluntary renunciation. The currently active U.S. business is AMP Global Clearing, LLC, trading as AMP Futures, a Chicago-based futures commission merchant and CME-group clearing member.
What are the Pros of AMP Global?
The strongest current features belong to the U.S. AMP Futures business: a USD 100 starting deposit, exchange-traded futures access, more than 50 supported trading platforms, multiple data feeds including CQG, TT, Rithmic and Teton, very low published day-trading margins on selected CME contracts, 24-hour trade-desk support and multi-currency funding. These features should not be confused with the discontinued Cyprus CFD service.
What are the Cons of AMP Global?
The biggest limitation is entity and product continuity. AMP Global Ltd no longer has an active CySEC investment-firm licence, so old European forex/CFD account terms are not a current offer. The surviving U.S. AMP Futures business is primarily an exchange-traded futures FCM, uses futures margin rather than a simple forex leverage ratio, charges some administrative and wire fees, and does not provide the former CySEC investor-compensation framework.
What are the AMP Global Current Promos?
The current active AMP Futures business advertises a commission-matching offer: it says it will beat or match a written competing commission quote or provide 20 commission-free trades. This belongs to AMP Global Clearing LLC / AMP Futures, not to the former Cyprus AMP Global Ltd forex/CFD entity.
What are the AMP Global Highlights?
Key 2026 AMP highlights are the active U.S. FCM under NFA number 0412490, CME/CBOT/COMEX/NYMEX clearing membership, a USD 100 account-opening minimum, published day margins such as USD 40 for one Micro E-mini S&P 500 contract and USD 400 for one E-mini S&P 500 contract, more than 50 platform choices, 12 supported funding/base currencies and TradingView integration.
What is the AMP Global Origin Story?
AMP Global Clearing, LLC was created in Illinois on 28 May 2009 according to its current LEI record and operates from Chicago. The European AMP Global Ltd later received CySEC licence 360/18 on 4 June 2018. CySEC lists that Cyprus company, registration number 369267, as a former investment firm after voluntary renunciation; the licence withdrawal followed the company’s 2024 decision to cease that European regulated operation.
Is AMP Global Legit and Trustworthy?
The active AMP Futures operation is a real U.S. futures broker rather than an anonymous offshore website: AMP Global Clearing, LLC identifies itself as a CFTC-regulated Futures Commission Merchant, NFA member 0412490, and clearing member of CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX. However, an investor should not treat that U.S. status as evidence that the former AMP Global Ltd Cyprus forex/CFD service is still licensed or available.
Is AMP Global Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Yes, but AMP's current regulation is materially different from its former European forex/CFD structure. The active brokerage is AMP Global Clearing, LLC, trading as AMP Futures in the United States. AMP states that this entity is a Futures Commission Merchant regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), is a National Futures Association member under NFA ID 0412490, and is a clearing member of CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX. CME Group is identified as AMP's designated self-regulatory organization.
The former European entity must be retained as a former relationship rather than silently dropped. AMP Global Ltd held CySEC licence 360/18, but CySEC now lists it among former Cyprus investment firms with the status “Voluntary Renunciation.” That Cyprus relationship therefore does not provide a current EU retail forex/CFD onboarding route and its former investor-protection framework must not be transferred to a new AMP Futures account.
| Legal entity | Regulator / status | Licence or reference | Current relevance |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMP Global Clearing, LLC / AMP Futures | CFTC-regulated FCM | NFA ID 0412490 | Current U.S. exchange-traded futures brokerage |
| AMP Global Clearing, LLC / AMP Futures | NFA member | 0412490 | Current NFA membership for the U.S. FCM |
| AMP Global Ltd | CySEC — former investment firm, voluntary renunciation | 360/18 | Former European forex/CFD entity; not a current onboarding route |
Protections are entity-specific. U.S. futures customer funds are subject to futures customer-segregation rules, but no general statutory compensation scheme comparable with the UK FSCS or Cyprus ICF was verified for current AMP Futures commodity accounts, and AMP Futures should not be presented as providing retail negative-balance protection. The old CySEC protection framework belongs to the former Cyprus entity only.
For Belgium, AMP's current fit is narrower than the old “AMP Global” name suggests. AMP explicitly accepts international applicants from countries not on its restricted-country list, and Belgium is not on the current list, so the U.S. AMP Futures account can be treated as available for eligible Belgian residents for exchange-traded futures, subject to normal account approval and contract permissions. This does not make the discontinued Cyprus forex/CFD service available. Belgium's FSMA restriction concerns leveraged OTC derivatives such as CFDs and rolling-spot forex; it does not by itself prohibit exchange-traded futures. Broker Fit therefore allows the verified futures route but does not expose a Belgian forex/CFD CTA.

Did AMP Global win any Awards?
AMP Futures states that TradingView users voted it Best Futures Broker in 2023, 2024 and 2025. No 2026 award was promoted without a dated issuer source in this pass; current value is better judged on FCM/clearing status, platform breadth and futures pricing.
What type of Forex Broker is AMP Global?
The current U.S. AMP business is a Futures Commission Merchant and clearing broker, not a conventional retail OTC forex/CFD market maker. AMP Global Clearing, LLC clears exchange-traded futures and connects clients to venues through CQG, TT, Rithmic and Teton. The discontinued Cyprus AMP Global Ltd business was the separate entity that historically provided leveraged forex/CFD products in Europe.
How do I get in Contact with AMP Global?
AMP Futures lists U.S. toll-free 800-560-1640, direct +1 312-893-6400, support@ampfutures.com, live chat, technical support and a trade desk. Published support spans the futures trading week from Sunday through Friday in U.S. Central time.
Where are the Headquarters from AMP Global based?
The current AMP Futures headquarters is 221 N. LaSalle Street, 25th Floor, Chicago, Illinois 60601. The old Cyprus AMP Global Ltd address belongs to the former CySEC entity and should be shown only as historical corporate context.
What kind of Customer Support is offered by AMP Global?
Support quality should be judged by KYC, payment and complaint handling rather than sales responsiveness.
| Support test | What a visitor should ask |
|---|---|
| KYC | Which documents are required and how long approval normally takes. |
| Funding | Which methods are supported for the exact country and entity. |
| Withdrawals | Method, minimum, fee, processing time and return-to-source rule. |
| Complaints | Which legal entity receives the complaint and which regulator/dispute body applies. |
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by AMP Global?
The active AMP Futures site provides Futures 101 material, webinars, platform tutorials, simulated trading, order-type guides and NFA risk resources. Education is futures-specific and more relevant than legacy AMP Global CFD material.
Does AMP Global hedge Positions?
AMP Futures is a Futures Commission Merchant/clearing broker providing direct access to exchange-traded futures. It should not be described as a retail OTC forex market maker or ECN broker. Hedging is accomplished through exchange-listed contracts/spreads and platform position modes, with margin determined by exchange/clearing rules.
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join AMP Global?
The former CySEC-regulated AMP Global Ltd forex/CFD route is no longer a current European onboarding route. The active business is the U.S. futures FCM AMP Global Clearing LLC / AMP Futures. No Belgium-specific AMP Futures eligibility route was verified in this pass, so Belgian account opening remains disabled rather than inferred from the old CySEC history.
Who should sign up with AMP Global?
AMP Futures is best suited to self-directed futures traders who want direct exchange access, low day-trading margins, a broad platform choice and professional futures data feeds. It is especially relevant to active CME-group traders using TradingView, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MetaTrader 5, CQG, Rithmic or TT. It is not a replacement for the discontinued AMP Global Ltd European CFD account if the user specifically wants EU-regulated spot-forex/CFD access.
Who should NOT sign up with AMP Global?
AMP is a poor fit for a client who specifically wants an active CySEC-regulated retail forex/CFD account, because AMP Global Ltd licence 360/18 was voluntarily renounced. It is also unsuitable for traders who do not understand futures margin, the possibility of losses exceeding deposited funds, exchange-data charges or the administrative fees associated with wire withdrawals and forced liquidations.
Does AMP Global offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
The current public AMP Futures offer is not a coupon-code scheme. AMP advertises that it will beat or match a competing futures commission quote or provide 20 commission-free trades. It also includes selected full platform versions, such as Quantower, free for AMP customers. Exact exchange, routing, market-data and third-party software fees remain separate from any promotional commission offer.
Which Account Types are offered by AMP Global?
AMP Futures supports Individual, Joint, IRA, Corporate, LLC, Partnership and Trust structures. The current opening minimum is USD 100 or equivalent, but the client must also meet the actual exchange/broker margin for the contract being traded.
How to Open a AMP Global LIVE Account?
To open a current AMP Futures live account, register in the AMP Client Portal, start a new application, choose Individual or Joint for the first account, complete personal and financial disclosures, upload requested identity/address documentation and wait for approval. After approval, fund the account in the account holder’s own name. A minimum USD 100 or equivalent deposit activates live connectivity, but sufficient contract margin is still required before a trade can be placed.
How to Open a AMP Global DEMO account?
AMP Futures allows prospective clients to open simulated accounts before a live account. Its FAQ says free demos are available across many of its 50+ supported platforms; TradingView currently offers a 28-day CQG trial connection through AMP, while funded accounts on many platforms can use continuing local simulation/paper-trading modes. The discontinued Cyprus AMP Global Ltd service should not be used as the registration path.
If I violate the Trading Objectives of AMP Global do I get a second chance?
AMP Futures is not a prop-firm challenge and has no profit-target or evaluation objective that must be passed before a client can trade personal capital. The operational constraints are the account’s cash balance, exchange and broker margin requirements, loss/risk controls and product permissions. For example, AMP currently publishes USD 40 day margin for MES and USD 400 for ES; those are margin requirements, not challenge targets.
How Are You Protected as a Client at AMP Global?
Current AMP Futures customer money is protected primarily through U.S. futures segregation rules rather than a bank-deposit guarantee. AMP states that CFTC/NFA rules require customer funds to be held separately from the firm’s own money and monitored through its regulatory framework. Futures balances are not individually FDIC-insured like personal bank deposits. The former Cyprus entity’s prior ICF relationship should not be assumed to cover new AMP Futures accounts.
What are AMP Global AML ID requirements?
AMP Futures applies U.S. KYC/AML controls. Its account process requires government-issued identity documentation where requested, and its funding rules prohibit third-party deposits: money must originate from a bank account in the same name as the AMP trading account. Business accounts require entity documentation and matching business-bank ownership. These controls also apply when bank details are changed for withdrawals.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at AMP Global?
Current AMP Futures funding includes bank wire, U.S. ACH, eligible personal checks and brokerage transfers, with ownership/KYC controls. Cryptocurrency, PayPal and money-transfer services such as Wise are not accepted under the published funding rules.
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at AMP Global?
AMP Futures currently accepts bank wire transfers, ACH transfers from U.S. banks, personal checks drawn on U.S. banks and eligible brokerage transfers. The funding instructions require the sender name to match the AMP account name. The broker does not accept cryptocurrency, PayPal, Wise/TransferWise or similar money-transfer services. Wire deposits have no AMP incoming-wire fee, though intermediary banks can deduct their own charges.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at AMP Global?
The current minimum deposit to open and activate an AMP Futures live account is USD 100 or equivalent. That is not necessarily enough to trade every contract: the account must also meet the specific day-trading or maintenance margin for the selected futures contract. AMP’s current examples show USD 40 day margin for one Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES) and USD 400 for one E-mini S&P 500 (ES) contract.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at AMP Global?
AMP Futures currently supports withdrawals by domestic/international bank wire, ACH for eligible U.S. bank accounts and brokerage transfer. Its published limits show no minimum or maximum for wire withdrawals and up to USD 10,000 per day for ACH withdrawals. Check withdrawals are not offered. AMP’s closed-loop controls normally send the withdrawal to the bank account originally used to fund the trading account unless a new account is separately verified.
How can I Withdraw Money from AMP Global Step by Step?
To withdraw from AMP Futures, log in to the Client Portal, open the Treasury area and submit a withdrawal transaction to a verified bank account. AMP normally uses a closed-loop approach, so the destination should be the original funding account. If that bank account is no longer available, supporting documents must be supplied so Treasury can verify the replacement account before a new withdrawal request is accepted.
Does AMP Global Payout?
AMP Futures does not offer fixed “payouts.” Withdrawable value is the account’s available cash/equity after open-position margin, realised trading P&L, fees and pending obligations. ACH and wire withdrawal limits follow the published Treasury rules. Futures can lose more than the initial margin or even more than the cash deposited during extreme moves, so a positive account balance is not a guaranteed return amount.
Which Fees are charged by AMP Global?
AMP Futures publishes deeply discounted futures commissions and separate exchange, NFA, routing, market-data and platform charges. Administrative fees can also apply, including wire/withdrawal or liquidation-related fees. Its promotional quote-match therefore does not eliminate the non-commission components of futures trading cost.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with AMP Global?
The active AMP Futures business provides exchange-traded futures and futures-market access rather than the old Cyprus retail CFD catalogue. Through its data feeds it connects to CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, Eurex, ICE, CFE/CBOE, ASX/SFE, HKEX, JPX and SGX where supported. That gives access to equity-index, interest-rate, energy, metals, agricultural, currency and other listed futures, plus futures options where available through the chosen setup.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by AMP Global?
AMP Futures supports a very broad platform catalogue including TradingView, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MetaTrader 5 and many specialist futures terminals, connected through feeds such as CQG, Rithmic, TT and Teton. This is exchange-traded futures infrastructure rather than the old Cyprus OTC-CFD platform set.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by AMP Global?
AMP Futures clients can trade listed futures across major U.S. and international exchanges, including equity-index futures, Micro and E-mini contracts, energy, metals, agricultural commodities, currencies, interest rates and volatility products. AMP’s exchange-access list includes CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX, Eurex, ICE, CFE/CBOE, ASX/SFE, HKEX, JPX and SGX. Exact futures options and contract permissions depend on the platform, exchange subscription and account setup.
Which Trading Servers are offered by AMP Global?
AMP does not use a single retail “server name” across all clients. Live connectivity is provisioned through the data/routing connection selected for the account, currently including CQG, TT, Rithmic and Teton, and then consumed by compatible platforms such as TradingView, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MetaTrader 5 or R|Trader. Credentials and server endpoints therefore differ by connection rather than by one universal AMP server.
Which are the Base Currencies supported by AMP Global?
AMP Futures currently allows funding in 12 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, PLN, AED, CAD, AUD, HKD, JPY, NZD and SGD. The currency deposited becomes the account’s base currency. Trading a market denominated in another currency can create a separate P&L balance in that currency; AMP periodically converts negative currency balances against available positive base-currency balances and lists a USD 30 currency-conversion fee.
Can I trade Crypto with AMP Global? Which crypto currencies are supported by AMP Global?
AMP Futures does not offer cryptocurrency deposits or withdrawals. For trading, crypto exposure is available through listed futures where the chosen exchange and platform support them, such as CME cryptocurrency futures, rather than by buying and withdrawing spot coins from AMP. That means the client trades an exchange-listed derivative contract and does not receive transferable Bitcoin, Ether or other tokens in an AMP wallet.
What is the Leverage on my AMP Global Trading Account?
AMP Futures does not publish one fixed leverage ratio like 1:30 or 1:500 for its U.S. futures accounts. Leverage is created by contract margin. AMP currently gives examples of USD 40 day margin for one Micro E-mini S&P 500 contract and USD 400 for one E-mini S&P 500 contract; other products have different day and maintenance margins that can change with volatility and exchange/broker risk settings.
How can I change the Leverage on my AMP Global Trading Account?
There is no client-selectable universal leverage slider at AMP Futures. Effective leverage changes with the futures contract, market price and current margin requirement. Traders choose position size, while AMP and the exchanges set day, overnight and maintenance margin. A client therefore cannot simply override a contract’s risk requirement to obtain an arbitrary leverage ratio, and margin can be raised when volatility or risk conditions change.
What kind of Spreads are offered by AMP Global?
Exchange-traded futures at AMP Futures do not have a broker-advertised forex spread such as “from 0.1 pip.” The trading spread is the live bid/ask spread in the exchange order book for each futures contract, while the broker’s explicit cost is the commission plus exchange, clearing, routing and data fees. Highly liquid contracts such as major CME equity-index futures often trade at a one-tick spread during active hours, but that is market-dependent rather than guaranteed.
Does AMP Global offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
AMP Futures does not currently offer a retail PAMM or MAM programme in the way many offshore forex brokers do. Its own FAQ says managed accounts and power-of-attorney setups are not offered and each account must be self-directed by its owner. AMP does support Introducing Brokers and professional futures infrastructure, but an IB relationship is not the same as discretionary MAM/PAMM portfolio management.
Does AMP Global allow Expert Advisors?
Automated trading is supported on compatible AMP Futures platforms. AMP’s MetaTrader 5 material explicitly supports trading robots and Expert Advisors, while TT’s ADL and several other supported platforms provide algorithmic or API-driven execution. Whether a particular EA works depends on the platform, data feed, futures symbols and order-routing connection, so a retail MT4 forex EA cannot automatically be assumed compatible with an AMP futures account.
Does AMP Global offer Copytrading?
Copy trading is available through supported technology rather than an AMP-managed investment product. AMP’s MetaTrader 5 pages describe the MQL5 Signals service, where a subscriber can automatically reproduce a selected signal provider’s trades, and TradingView provides community/social features. AMP itself says it does not offer managed-account or power-of-attorney trading, so platform signal copying should not be confused with discretionary account management by AMP.
