Overview and safety
What is FXGT?
FXGT is a multi-entity forex and CFD broker whose regulated group includes Cyprus Investment Firm GT Investment Services Ltd and the international FXGT operation associated with GT Global Ltd in Seychelles.
CySEC independently lists GT Investment Services Ltd, company 389575, under licence 382/20 with FXGT as an approved trade name and fxgt.eu as approved domain. The international fxgt.com operation is presented separately through the group’s offshore legal structure.
What are the Pros of FXGT?
The main strengths are an independently verifiable CySEC entity, MT4 and MT5, multiple account structures, 24/7 multilingual support, low USD 5 transfer-in threshold, negative-balance protection on published accounts and dedicated Copier functionality.
For active comparison purposes, the most important concrete advantages are current account material includes Pro spreads from about 0.5 pips and Optimus from about 0.8 pips with zero transaction commission on those displayed configurations and FXGT supports MT5 broadly and MT4 on multiple account types across desktop, web and mobile, with Expert Advisor compatibility and a dedicated Copier account structure.
What are the Cons of FXGT?
The main drawbacks are international leverage can be extremely high, including headline levels far above EU retail caps, and the serving entity determines client protection; Cyprus and offshore protections should never be treated as equivalent.
A prospective client should also account for jurisdiction differences: EU/Cyprus clients fall under GT Investment Services Ltd and applicable CySEC rules, while international fxgt.com clients can be served by a different legal entity. Belgian consumers are also subject to the FSMA ban on electronic distribution of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex
What are the FXGT Current Promos?
FXGT’s current rewards programme includes a Milestone Bonus: after 3 qualified GTLots, the next eligible deposit can receive 30% trading credit up to USD 600. FXGT says the wider tiered programme can reach USD 10,000 in rewards. Bonus credit itself is not withdrawable; regional eligibility and profit-withdrawal rules apply.
What are the FXGT Highlights?
Key 2026 highlights include CySEC licence 382/20, MT4/MT5, Pro spreads from about 0.5 pips, Optimus from about 0.8 pips, a USD 5 minimum transfer-in across accounts, 24/7 multilingual support, Copier functionality and very high equity-based leverage on eligible international accounts. These are more useful than marketing slogans because they directly affect pricing, market access, platform capability or client protection.
What is the FXGT Origin Story?
FXGT operates through a group of legal entities rather than one universal global company. CySEC granted GT Investment Services Ltd licence 382/20 on 27 January 2020 and records FXGT as an approved trade name.
Is FXGT Legit and Trustworthy?
Yes, FXGT is an established legitimate financial-services provider. The Cyprus identity and licence are independently confirmed by CySEC. The largest fit risk is not whether the FXGT name exists, but which legal entity holds the account and how much leverage/client protection applies there.
That does not make every account equally protected; EU/Cyprus clients fall under GT Investment Services Ltd and applicable CySEC rules, while international fxgt.com clients can be served by a different legal entity. Belgian consumers are also subject to the FSMA ban on electronic distribution of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex
Is FXGT Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Yes. FXGT is a multi-entity regulated brand, and the complete current verified set remains five regulated group entities. The licence, client type and protections depend on the exact legal entity.
| Legal entity | Regulator | Licence / reference | Current status and scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| GT Global Ltd | Financial Services Authority Seychelles (FSA Seychelles) | SD019 | Current Seychelles Securities Dealer and the principal global/international retail-facing FXGT entity disclosed on fxgt.com. |
| GT IO Markets (Pty) Ltd | Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), South Africa | FSP 48896 | Current authorised South African FSP. Country/product onboarding must still be established separately. |
| GT Global Markets Ltd | Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) | Principal Licence 700601 | Current licence, but FXGT explicitly says this entity serves eligible counterparties only and is not aimed at retail clients. |
| GT Investment Services Ltd (formerly TEC International (Cyprus) Ltd) | Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) | 382/20 | Current Cyprus Investment Firm and approved FXGT trade name/domain; FXGT explicitly says this entity serves eligible counterparties only and is not aimed at EU retail clients. |
| GT Markets Capital Ltd | Financial Services Commission Mauritius (FSC Mauritius) | GB24203727 | Current Investment Dealer licence disclosed by FXGT; country-specific resident onboarding is not inferred from the licence alone. |
FXGT also identifies GT Payment Agent Ltd, Cyprus company HE 440349, as a payment facilitator for GT Global Ltd. That is preserved as corporate/payment context and is not mislabelled as an investment or forex licence.
Protection remains entity-specific. FXGT currently publishes segregated-fund and negative-balance-protection safeguards for its retail-facing service and also advertises liability insurance. Those broker-published safeguards are recorded where applicable, but they are not converted into a statutory investor-compensation scheme. The CySEC and VFSC entities are especially important to classify correctly: their current FXGT disclosure is eligible-counterparty-only, so ordinary retail ICF or retail negative-balance protections are not inferred merely because a regulator appears in the group list.
Belgium remains unavailable for the reviewed service. Current FXGT disclosures do not establish a Belgian retail route, the Cyprus entity is explicitly not aimed at EU retail clients, and Belgium's FSMA separately restricts distribution to consumers of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex. ForexBrokersInfo therefore keeps Belgian account opening and all Belgian Open Account CTAs disabled.

Did FXGT win any Awards?
FXGT says it has 10+ industry awards. A dated current example is Best Hybrid Innovation Broker, awarded by Peska Media on 5 February 2026. Awards are recorded as industry/marketing recognition rather than regulatory evidence.
What type of Forex Broker is FXGT?
FXGT is an OTC forex/CFD broker using MetaTrader account infrastructure. Current account pages describe market trading conditions, but the public material does not prove every client trade is matched externally one-for-one.
How do I get in Contact with FXGT?
FXGT publishes 24/7 multilingual support through live chat, email and a web request form; the current client contact route uses support@fxgt.com. Keep funding and complaint correspondence inside official fxgt.com/client channels.
Where are the Headquarters from FXGT based?
Fxgt should not be treated as one global legal entity unless the client agreement proves it.
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Legal counterparty | Use the legal entity and registered office in the client agreement, not only the public brand name. |
| Regulator record | Regulation must be checked against the exact legal entity and account agreement. |
| Country restrictions | Do not assume availability from a global homepage or affiliate page. |
What kind of Customer Support is offered by FXGT?
Support quality should be judged by KYC, payment and complaint handling rather than sales responsiveness.
| Support test | What a visitor should ask |
|---|---|
| KYC | Which documents are required and how long approval normally takes. |
| Funding | Which methods are supported for the exact country and entity. |
| Withdrawals | Method, minimum, fee, processing time and return-to-source rule. |
| Complaints | Which legal entity receives the complaint and which regulator/dispute body applies. |
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by FXGT?
FXGT provides a Trading Toolkit, market news/analysis, calculators, economic calendar and demo learning. These resources are practical, but high-leverage users should read margin, stop-out and bonus terms alongside educational content.
Does FXGT hedge Positions?
FXGT offers OTC leveraged products under different group entities. Multi-regulated status does not establish one universal execution model or prove every client position is externally offset; execution/conflict handling follows the serving entity’s policy.
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join FXGT?
The current global site explicitly excludes residents of European Union member states from the reviewed fxgt.com investment offer. Belgium is therefore unavailable for that route; no offshore entity or bonus CTA should be used as a workaround.
Who should sign up with FXGT?
FXGT is best suited to eligible CFD traders who want MT4/MT5, multiple account types, low transfer-in thresholds, automated strategies or the dedicated Copier account and who understand entity-specific leverage/protection
Who should NOT sign up with FXGT?
FXGT is a weaker fit for Belgian consumers seeking leveraged OTC forex/CFDs, inexperienced clients attracted mainly by extreme leverage, or users who assume a CySEC group licence automatically protects every international FXGT account
Does FXGT offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
Promotional credits and loyalty-style campaigns vary by region and time. The durable pricing differences are account-based—such as tighter Pro/Optimus spreads—rather than one permanent coupon code.
Which Account Types are offered by FXGT?
Current account marketing includes specialized tiers such as Optimus, Pro, Mini and copy/standard/ECN-style configurations depending on region. Optimus is advertised from 0.8 pips with zero transaction commission and equity-based leverage up to 1:5000; other accounts use lower limits. Conditions vary by country/entity.
How to Open a FXGT LIVE Account?
To open a live account, register on the correct regional FXGT site, complete identity/residency verification, choose an available account/platform/base currency and transfer at least the activation amount required for that account before trading. The broker must complete identity, residency and suitability/appropriateness checks before regulated products are enabled.
How to Open a FXGT DEMO account?
FXGT provides demo/practice MetaTrader access. Demo conditions can differ from live liquidity and should not be treated as proof of execution quality.
If I violate the Trading Objectives of FXGT do I get a second chance?
FXGT is not a proprietary-trading challenge, so there are no 'trading objectives' whose breach automatically terminates a funded challenge. Normal account restrictions instead come from margin rules, product permissions, suitability checks and the client agreement.
How Are You Protected as a Client at FXGT?
CySEC clients receive the safeguards required for a Cyprus Investment Firm, while offshore clients fall under a different framework. Current account specifications publish negative-balance protection on supported account types.
What are FXGT AML ID requirements?
Accounts must be verified before they can trade; the resource center says accounts below required verification/balance thresholds can remain read-only. Deposits and withdrawals are subject to ownership/source-of-funds controls.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Deposit and Withdrawal options are available at FXGT?
FXGT’s resource center says the minimum transfer-in across account types is USD 5. Deposit/withdrawal methods and processing times vary by region, currency and legal entity.
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at FXGT?
Funding options are shown in the authenticated client area and vary by region; the public FAQ confirms a USD 5 minimum transfer-in across accounts.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at FXGT?
FXGT distinguishes transfer-in minimum from trading activation balance. The public FAQ confirms USD 5 as the minimum transfer-in, while some account types require a higher balance before trading changes from Read-Only to Active.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at FXGT?
Withdrawals use the available bank/card/e-wallet/crypto or other methods shown for the client’s region and are subject to verified account ownership and return-to-source controls.
How can I Withdraw Money from FXGT Step by Step?
submit the withdrawal from the verified client area, satisfy any outstanding KYC/source-of-funds checks, choose an eligible method and allow both broker processing and external network/bank settlement.
Does FXGT Payout?
FXGT does not publish one universal payout time for every payment rail; method/network and compliance checks determine actual settlement time.
Which Fees are charged by FXGT?
FXGT advertises zero-commission configurations and spreads from 0.0 pips on selected accounts. Swap-free allowances, financing and instrument charges vary by account. At very high leverage, liquidation risk can dominate small headline-spread differences.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with FXGT?
FXGT account specifications include forex, equity indices, metals, energies, stock CFDs and cryptocurrency-related instruments where the legal entity permits them.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by FXGT?
FXGT supports MT4 and MT5 on desktop, web and mobile plus its own app/web experience. Current FAQs say MT4/MT5 support manual and automated trading with Expert Advisors, and the site also markets copy trading.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by FXGT?
Available instruments include currency pairs, stock/equity-index CFDs, metals, energies and crypto-related CFDs, with the exact symbol list varying by entity and account.
Which Trading Servers are offered by FXGT?
FXGT uses assigned MT4/MT5 live/demo servers. The public pages checked do not provide one permanent universal server list; clients receive their correct server details inside the authenticated account.
Which are the Base Currencies supported by FXGT?
Base-currency options differ by account type and region; FXGT directs users to the current Trading Account Types page for the exact list.
Can I trade Crypto with FXGT? Which crypto currencies are supported by FXGT?
Yes, crypto-related instruments are available on eligible FXGT international accounts. Availability and leverage vary by legal entity and should not be confused with self-custodied spot-coin ownership.
What is the Leverage on my FXGT Trading Account?
International account pages advertise equity-based leverage up to 1:1000 on several accounts and materially higher headline leverage on Optimus. These are not EU retail caps and can accelerate margin liquidation.
How can I change the Leverage on my FXGT Trading Account?
Leverage can only be changed within the maximum allowed for the client’s legal entity, account, equity and instrument. EU retail limits cannot be bypassed by a platform setting.
What kind of Spreads are offered by FXGT?
Published minimum spreads include about 0.5 pips on Pro and 0.8 pips on Optimus; live variable spreads depend on market conditions.
Does FXGT offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
No current FXGT official page checked for this audit provided a broker-run PAMM/MAM programme with current operating terms. The separate Copier account should not be relabelled as PAMM/MAM.
Does FXGT allow Expert Advisors?
Yes. MT4/MT5 support allows Expert Advisors and algorithmic trading where the account rules permit it.
Does FXGT offer Copytrading?
Yes. FXGT publishes a Copier account structure designed for copy/social-style trading. Strategy-provider risk remains separate from broker execution and regulation.
