Overview and safety
What is Trive (Trive.com)?
Trive is a regulated multi-asset broker whose EEA website is operated by Trive Financial Services Europe Limited in Malta. The company is MFSA-licensed under CRES IF 5048, passports services across the EU and has permanent branches including Germany, Spain and Italy; the wider group also includes BVI- and US-regulated entities.
What are the Pros of Trive?
Trive’s strengths are strong EU regulatory identity, clear CFD pricing tiers, a commission-free investment account for stocks/fractionals, negative-balance protection for EU retail CFDs and multiple platform choices including Trive’s own platforms, TradingView and MetaTrader.
What are the Cons of Trive?
The main limitation is product-specific suitability: CFDs remain leveraged OTC products and are not suitable for every jurisdiction or trader. Trive directs its EEA service to EEA residents, but Belgium’s product-distribution rules mean leveraged OTC CFDs/rolling-spot forex should still be treated as restricted while non-CFD investment products require their own local-availability check.
What are the Trive Current Promos?
No current EU retail deposit bonus was used as a core Trive benefit in this review. The current proposition is priced through account tiers and an investment account rather than relying on a promotional credit.
What are the Trive Highlights?
Current published tiers include Classic CFDs with spreads from 0.5 and no commission, Prime from 0.3 with no commission, Prime Plus from 0.1 with €5/lot round turn, plus a commission-free fractional-stock Investment account.
Is Trive Legit and Trustworthy?
Trive’s EU entity has a strong identifiable licence: Trive Financial Services Europe Limited, Malta registration C 60473, MFSA CRES IF 5048. The group also discloses Trive International Ltd under BVI FSC SIBA/L/14/1066 and Trive New York LLC under FINRA CRD 21946 / SEC 8-39420. MFSA clone warnings published against lookalike domains concern impersonators and should not be confused with the legitimate trive.com entity.
Is Trive Regulated and who are the Regulators?
Trive is a multi-entity financial group, and the complete current/former regulatory set is materially broader than one MFSA/BVI licence. The entity, product and status must be kept separate:
| Legal entity | Regulator / authority | Licence / reference | Current status and role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trive Financial Services Europe Limited | Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) | CRES IF 5048 | Current EEA investment firm and the relevant Trive entity for the reviewed EEA CFD/investment service. |
| Trive Financial Services Europe Limited, Germany Branch | BaFin | 10161621 | Current German branch of the MFSA entity; not a separate group licence. |
| Trive Financial Services Europe Limited, Spain Branch | CNMV | 157 | Current Spanish branch of the MFSA entity. |
| Trive Financial Services Europe Limited, Italy Branch | CONSOB | 220 | Current Italian branch of the MFSA entity. |
| Trive International Ltd | British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC) | SIBA/L/14/1066; company 1728826 | Current international/offshore entity. The BVI FSC currently lists Trive International Ltd as a regulated Dealing as Agent entity. |
| Trive New York LLC | FINRA | CRD 21946 | Current US broker-dealer relationship; separate from the EEA CFD business. |
| Trive New York LLC | U.S. SEC | 8-39420 | Current US broker-dealer registration disclosed by Trive; it does not create EEA/forex permissions. |
| Trive Bank Europe Zrt | Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) | 01-10-142205 | Current regulated bank/digital-credit group entity; not represented as the EEA retail CFD licence. |
| Trive Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. | Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) | G-033(408) | Current Turkish investment-services relationship. |
| TFG Istanbul Menkul Değerler A.Ş. | CMB | D-008(G-054) | Current Turkish brokerage relationship. |
| Trive Portföy | CMB | Licence reference not published on the current group page checked | Current asset-management group relationship; not represented as the global CFD broker. |
| PT Trive Invest Futures | BAPPEBTI, Indonesia | 01/BAPPEBTI/SP-PN/08/2023 d/h 824/BAPPEBTI/SI/11/2005; SPA 1218/BAPPEBTI/SP/5/2007 | Current Indonesian futures-broker relationship; Trive also identifies JFX/ICDX membership. |
| Trive South Africa (Pty) Ltd | FSCA | FSP 27231; registration 2005/011130/07 | Current South African financial-services/intermediary group entity. |
| Trive Financial Services Ltd | FSC Mauritius | GB21026295 | Current Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) and Global Business licence. |
| Trive Financial Services Australia Pty Ltd | ASIC | AFSL 424122 | Former Australian CFD-issuer licence. ASIC cancelled it effective 1 July 2026 because the firm was no longer carrying on a financial-services business. ASIC says Trive had stopped onboarding new clients in April 2025 after serious deficiencies were identified in some processes; Trive filed an appeal on 30 July 2026. The licence is therefore not shown as current. |
Protection is entity-specific. Trive Financial Services Europe Limited states that eligible claims can fall under Malta's Investor Compensation Scheme at 90% up to EUR 20,000, subject to scheme rules, and its EEA retail framework includes segregated client funds and retail CFD negative-balance protection. Those protections must not be copied to BVI, Mauritius, South Africa, Türkiye, Indonesia, US banking/securities or former Australian relationships without separate evidence.
For Belgium, the MFSA/EEA relationship does not establish retail leveraged-OTC product availability. Belgium's FSMA restricts electronic distribution to consumers of leveraged OTC CFDs and rolling-spot forex. ForexBrokersInfo therefore keeps the Belgian Open Account CTA disabled. Non-CFD Trive investment products remain unknown for Belgium until an explicit Belgium-specific onboarding/product route is verified.

Did Trive win any Awards?
No current award was added without a clear official source identifying award name, issuer and year. The rating is therefore based on substantive regulation, product, pricing and platform evidence rather than award marketing.
How do I get in Contact with Trive?
The EEA company publishes Floor 5, The Penthouse, Lifestar, Testaferrata Street, Ta’ Xbiex XBX 1403, Malta and hello@trive.com. The German branch is at Mainzer Landstraße 69–71, 60329 Frankfurt am Main.
Where are the Headquarters from Trive based?
Trive Financial Services Europe Limited is the current EEA operator. The broader Trive group includes separate BVI, US, Australian, South African, Mauritius, Hungarian, Turkish and Indonesian businesses; their licences should not be projected onto an EEA retail account.
What kind of Customer Support is offered by Trive?
Trive publishes hello@trive.com and its Malta head-office address, with regional contact/service channels through the EEA site. Telephone/chat interactions may be recorded and monitored.
Which Educational and Learning Materials are offered by Trive?
Trive offers market/educational content and platform guidance. No educational material should be treated as personalised investment advice or a performance promise.
Accounts and eligibility
Can anyone join Trive?
The EEA website is directed to EEA residents and excludes the United States, United Kingdom, sanctioned countries and other restricted territories. EEA-directed service does not override Belgian restrictions on electronic distribution of leveraged OTC CFDs/rolling-spot forex.
Who should sign up with Trive?
Trive is most relevant to EEA users who want an MFSA-regulated broker with both leveraged CFD accounts and a separate investment account, provided local product rules are respected.
Who should NOT sign up with Trive?
Trive is not suitable for anyone who assumes group licences are interchangeable or who wants to bypass Belgian restrictions on leveraged OTC products. The international BVI route should not be substituted for the EEA legal entity without understanding the change in protections.
Does Trive offer Discounts, Coupons, or Promo Codes?
No universal active Trive deposit code was verified for the EEA account set on 2026-09-06. Any future campaign should be checked for legal entity, country, expiry and withdrawal conditions before being counted as value.
Which Account Types are offered by Trive?
Classic CFD: spreads from 0.5, commission-free, max 1:30. Prime: from 0.3, commission-free, max 1:30. Prime Plus: from 0.1, €5/lot round turn, max 1:30. Investment: commission-free stocks/fractionals, with product and transfer terms governed by the current account documentation.
How to Open a Trive LIVE Account?
EEA applicants register with Trive Financial Services Europe Limited, complete KYC/appropriateness checks, select the available CFD or investment account and fund through the supported channel. Product availability then depends on residence and classification.
How to Open a Trive DEMO account?
Trive provides practice/demo functionality for supported trading services. Demo results are illustrative and not a guarantee of live fills or spreads.
How Are You Protected as a Client at Trive?
EU retail CFD clients receive negative-balance protection under Trive’s published MFSA/ESMA framework. Trive Financial Services Europe Limited states that it is a member of Malta’s Investor Compensation Scheme, which covers 90% of eligible claims up to €20,000, subject to scheme rules, and that retail client funds are segregated from the firm’s own money.
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Which Funding methods or Deposit Options are available at Trive?
The investment account advertises zero fee for bank transfers. Other deposit/payment processing can vary; users should use the current legal-entity fee schedule rather than assume every rail is free.
What is the Minimum Deposit Amount at Trive?
A universal minimum deposit applying to every Trive EEA account was not established from the current pages checked; the more decision-useful verified distinction is account pricing and product type.
Which Withdrawal methods are available at Trive?
Withdrawal and transfer fees depend on account/product and payment route. Current published schedules should be checked before funding because some non-bank or portfolio-transfer actions can carry charges.
Which Fees are charged by Trive?
CFD costs are tiered by account: Classic/Prime are commission-free with wider spreads, while Prime Plus uses tighter starting spreads plus €5/lot round turn. Overnight CFD financing is instrument-specific.
Trading conditions and platforms
What can I trade with Trive?
Trive’s EEA offer includes stocks/investment products and CFDs across major markets. The site separates investment accounts from CFD accounts, which is important for understanding ownership, leverage and local restrictions.
Which Trading Platforms are offered by Trive?
Platform coverage includes Trive’s proprietary interfaces, TradingView and MetaTrader options. This mix supports both investment and active CFD workflows.
Which Trading Instruments are offered by Trive?
Product coverage includes stocks/investment products and leveraged CFDs over major asset classes. Exact symbols and access vary by account and jurisdiction.
Which Trading Servers are offered by Trive?
Trive offers proprietary Trive Trader/Trive Investor tools, TradingView integration and MetaTrader 4/5 in parts of its platform range. Users should verify platform availability for their exact account.
Can I trade Crypto with Trive? Which crypto currencies are supported by Trive?
Any crypto-related exposure is product/entity dependent. Users should distinguish a derivative contract from direct ownership of a cryptoasset.
What is the Leverage on my Trive Trading Account?
The EEA CFD accounts publish maximum retail leverage up to 1:30. Professional or non-EEA arrangements can differ and should not be used to describe ordinary EU retail terms.
What kind of Spreads are offered by Trive?
Published CFD spreads currently start around 0.5 on Classic, 0.3 on Prime and 0.1 on Prime Plus. These are headline starting figures, not guaranteed execution spreads.
Does Trive offer MAM Accounts or PAMM Accounts?
No current EEA retail MAM/PAMM program with a complete public allocation/fee schedule was verified in this pass.
Does Trive allow Expert Advisors?
Automated trading is supported on compatible MetaTrader environments where permitted by the account and entity; strategy and execution rules still apply.
Does Trive offer Copytrading?
No universal EEA copy-trading marketplace was verified with a complete current fee/risk schedule. Any social/copy function should be assessed at platform and entity level.
